Crowley plans his comeback after Ocasio-Cortez defeat (still on the ballot)

**SNIP**

Crowley has formed a state campaign committee “Joe for NY,” and is holding a fundraiser Oct. 29 at the Fitzpatrick Grand Central Hotel in Manhattan, where the maximum suggested donation is $10,000.

According to an email sent to “Irish Americans & Friends Crowley” by Walter Swett of the firm Dynamic SRG, who is the Crowley committee’s campaign treasurer, the group was “established to position Joe for future opportunities in public service.”

**SNIP**

The IrishCentral website recently floated Crowley’s name for statewide office, noting that, “While white ethnic Catholic no longer plays that well in Queens, it is a powerful identity statewide…He will be back.”

But another political source speculated that Crowley created the new campaign committee to maintain his profile and raise money for other Democratic candidates.

Or himself...

Wow, a real Sophies Choice—either a thoroughly corrupt dummocrap machine animal who doesn’t even live in his district—he lives in VIRGINIA—or a total nutjob spouting commie nonsense. Queens is screwed, as usual. No one ever heard of the so-called Republican candidate (is there one??), which is the usual case in NY. The Repubs put on a token effort, at best. Can’t remember the last time a truly viable Republican candidate was offered for council or Congressional positions.

Republicans need to blame themselves for not even trying.

“While white ethnic Catholic no longer plays that well in Queens”

Because they voted for the mass immigration and identity politics of scum like Crowley and the Kennedys and will now be driven from their neighborhoods by the hostile foreigners those SOBs agitated for

Sorry, you get whatcha deserve, Paddy

This district is constructed where the GOP can’t figure to take more than 35-percent of the vote.

If you take it apart, it’s almost 50-percent Hispanic for the 13th District. The GOP ought to go out...find some conservative Latino, and put some emphasis/funding on the individual.

I expect Crowley to take 50-percent of the vote, and end this Ocasio-Cortez ‘game’.

Bob Turner (R) of Queens succeeded Anthony Weiner, but the district was eliminated after the 2010 census. Part of Turner’s old district overlaps Crowley’s current district, but not enough of it that he could be competitive.

I’m guessing the Bronx part of Crowley’s district makes it unwinnable for a Republican.

Crowley’s got the money if he wants to beat Ocasio-Cortez but he’s got to make his move soon.

AOC isn't going to win.

She has spent very little time in the district talking to the people there. Instead, she has embarked on tours across the country, trying to be a Queen maker. Who is paying for her travel and speeches?

This type of stuff turns off even liberal people. The district might be liberal, but there's still a bunch of blue-collar, joe sixpacks there that are frowning on what AOC is doing.

That has been my thought ever since Ocasio-Cortez came on the scene. The analogy I used was a shooting star that momentarily lit up the skies and then burned out.

My thinking was that the few remaining sane Democrats in the DNC are not going to let their boy, with 20 years seniority in the game (and all those choice assignments) be replaced witha rookie with no power at all. That, and the fact that he has 20 years worth of IOUs to call in from his local constituency, makes him a prime contender.

As much as I'd like to see an incumbent wiped out, I don't think it will happen.

If I’m not mistaken, the Bronx portion of the district is the more conservative and less reflexively Democrat than the Brooklyn portion. It includes the Irish and Italian eastern part of the Bronx (Bronx Hispanics and some blacks are in Serrano’s CD, while some other Bronx blacks and almost all of its Jews are in Engler’s CD); meanwhile, the Queens portion is heavily Hispanic (not that many Irish still live in the Queens neigborhoods in the district) and very liberal.

I heard he was a wife beater. Oh, and she a a 20 year restraining order against him. Oh, and he threatened the judge.

Other than that, he is really great.

Her teeth give me the Heebie-jeebies. I can’t imagine why her parents didn’t haul her dumb arse to an orthodontist to do something about them. She’s simply horrifying to look at imo, but I’m sure some of the losers here would hit her. 😉

Not for me. I’m for Crowley, all the way. And for one reason only. If Crowley wins, it will drive the radical left crazy. They’ll whine, and they’ll complain. And they’ll probably not vote or vote socialist in 2020.

Divide and conquer.

Bob Turner was great. He expedited getting my passport so I could go to Israel and did other stuff. The b_____ds deliberately gerrymandered his district right out from under him. So we lost a very good man to more NYC corruption.

But, strange to say, we have seen ZERO polls of the real race (Crowley as a near-Communist-socialist party vs Ocasio-Cortez on the democrat ticket.)

Hundreds of lines of text and TV hours for Ocasio-Cortez nationwide. But nothing of her chances in her own district. She might be defeated here - if the ballot is written for Crowley on the NWP (?) Party as the “Incompetent” (er, Incumbent).

I checked Our Campaigns, Crowley always did a little better in the Bronx portion, so you are right, the Bronx portion is actually not as rat as the nasty Brooklyn portion.

Crowley apparently is also the Woman’s Equality Party Nominee. ;-D

But EEE, Osacio-Cortez is definitely going to win and win big absent an actual effort from Crowley. Expecting a silent majority to come through on their own seems far-fetched to me. Even if ALL the Republican voting for him (and there is a Republican on the ballot so they won’t) wouldn’t do it for him.

He’s a real wuss, he could have certainly won this if he hadn’t stopped campaigning, rat primary turnout was pathetically low so he had a great rationale for taking it to November. But she’s a non-White woman loved by the psycho base voters so the party is ascared of “robbing” her of her “win”.

As for the GOP, EinNYC we could spend 10 million dollars on it or 50 million, Trump got a grand total of 20% in this district, it is not winnable. We should do everything we can to give voters a choice in these districts short of wasting resources that are needed for competitive races.

Whether it’s better for us to see a nut like this win or not is debatable. Progressives would be infuriated if she lost despite being the rat nominee and that would encourage them to support third party efforts which would be pretty great. But if she wins we can use her as a bogeyman in competitive districts. We don’t lose either way.

In terms of voting record, it won’t make much of a difference, neither Crowley or Cortez will ever vote our way on anything of importance.

I've been thinking about that too - while La estúpido has been off on her nationwide endzone dance tour, Crowley has to have been quietly lining up the local political machine to get the needed results. Methinks Cortez is going to receive the Tammany Hall-style treatment a few weeks from now.
