Yo radu!
Off work by 10 AM and a beautiful day today, it actually got warm enough for me to don shorts again.
Son had no work today so we had lunch together, I mowed and played a bit with the pups. The little guy still demands the most attention but he has mellowed a lot.
Kicking back now and watching college football.
Howz things with you and the kittehs today?

Well, when your feet get cold then all you have to do is to drink a cup of YUCKY tea!

LOL! It’s even written like a script.
But, then, Ayn Rand worked as a screenwriter for a while, so there ya go.
My childhood friend is a big fan of AS. She, her younger sister, and I went to a museum together and then for coffee, and the two of us older gals were telling the younger all about Ayn Rand and I was describing how I had re-read it alongside your book and how it made it even more enjoyable. In our enthusiasm, perhaps I was speaking a little loudly, because suddenly the crowded coffee shop went silent and everybody was staring at us.
It was a Starbucks in Barney Frank’s district.
YIKES! :-)

Actually, they went silent to take down the name of the book that Billthedrill and I wrote so that they could buy it at Amazon. I should check to see if sales are up in New England.

Well, what started the Ayn Rand conversation was this:
As we were trying to find a place to park, I remarked:
“Oh my...this place must be very busy today!”
“It’s always like this” replied the younger sister. “Bunch of moochers and slackers who sit here all day nursing one latte and playing with their cell phones for hours. They don’t have a life.”
And THAT’S when Dee and I started talking about Ayn Rand! We figured Sis was ready.

THE GREAT AMERICAN SONGBOOK
HARRY WARREN
GOLD DIGGERS OF 1935: LULLABY OF BROADWAY
Rosemarys career reached its peak in the Fifties. She came back in the Eighties to record the composers of the Great American Songbook one by one. This comes from her later period, and its a fine jazz and Big Band take on the tune.
