GOP going on offense in key Senate races the party believes will flip red
The National Sentinel ^ | 10/12/18 | USA Features

Red Wave: Despite reports and questionable polling that indicates the House may go back to the Democrats — we don’t believe them, mind you — Republican leaders see opportunities to pick up Senate seats and are now going on the offense in key races the party believes it can win.

Fox News reports that with less than one month before the November midterms, several Senate races are trending away from Democrats and toward the GOP, reinvigorating the party and convincing Republican leaders they can expand their slim majority in the upper chamber.

Blackburn just got a +14 print

Donna Shalala is now trailing in her +20 Clinton district

RCP has just reluctantly admitted there is zero chance the GOP will lose the Senate

And the GOP needs to win fewer than half the “toss-up” House seats in order to remain in control there as well.

Things keep going like this for the next few weeks and another 2014 style rout is in the cards.

Stupid article. Talks about Texas and ND. Beto was never a serious challenger other than he was young, hip and rich. ND was a lost cause for the Dems a while ago.

The necessity of changing from defensive to offensive tactics in an election is demonstrative of what is wrong with the GOP. In an election you should always be on offense. Further you should always campaign like you’re 10 points down. Take nothing for granted, never be complacent.

Republicans hold all current seats and add ND, MO, IN. Gives them a total of 54.

Still a chance for Florida. I’m concerned the panhandle mess will cost us some votes as people are dealing with disaster and voting may not be at the top of their “to-do” list.

WV stays Democratic.

That would be 54-46.

Things are flipping because people got off their butts and are fighting mad. Got to keep fighting for every vote until election day to off set the Democrat voter fraud machine

That is key.

I really think it’s going to be a catastrophic night for the Dems. Maybe I’m overly optimistic. I do anticipate them to commit massive voting fraud from coast to coast, but I think the vast majority of Americans have woken up, and are repulsed by what they’re seeing from the RATS. Time will tell!

Too bad the GOP couldn’t find a good candidate to run against Brown in Ohio -

I wish one of those seats was here in Minnesota.

Tina Smith was appointed to fill the seat vacated when Al Franken resigned. Tina is as far left as the come but she works really hard at hiding it.

We have a top notch candidate in Karin Housley. She is smart, hard-working and has raised a really respectable amount of cash.

But she just can’t close the deal. She’s behind by about 5-9 points depending on what poll you believe.

What I'd love to see is a Trump rally in the central valley of California, in Jim Robinson country.

If Trump held a rally in Fresno or Bakersfield in support of House candidates like Elizabeth Heng (CA-16), Kevin McCarthy* (CA-23), Devon Nunes* (CA-22), and David Valadao* (CA-21), he would certainly boost the chances of Heng flipping a Democrat district, while giving the farmers of the central valley something to rally about.

People are mad we just have to get people to the polls and do it as soon as possible. Never was an early voter but I am pushing everyone one to do so to keep an unexpected life event or crappy weather from keeping them from the polls on Election Day. Wish we could end early voting and just have ELECTION DAY.

PA is doable. Sleepy Bob Casey is the worst. LOU Barletta is awesome and would kill Sleepy in a debate.

Casey must vote with Schumer 95% of time. That is NOT Pa.

Need Trump 3 more times and a wave of RNC money.
