Blackburn just got a +14 print

Donna Shalala is now trailing in her +20 Clinton district

RCP has just reluctantly admitted there is zero chance the GOP will lose the Senate

And the GOP needs to win fewer than half the “toss-up” House seats in order to remain in control there as well.

Things keep going like this for the next few weeks and another 2014 style rout is in the cards.

The necessity of changing from defensive to offensive tactics in an election is demonstrative of what is wrong with the GOP. In an election you should always be on offense. Further you should always campaign like you’re 10 points down. Take nothing for granted, never be complacent.

Republicans hold all current seats and add ND, MO, IN. Gives them a total of 54.

Still a chance for Florida. I’m concerned the panhandle mess will cost us some votes as people are dealing with disaster and voting may not be at the top of their “to-do” list.

WV stays Democratic.

That would be 54-46.

I really think it’s going to be a catastrophic night for the Dems. Maybe I’m overly optimistic. I do anticipate them to commit massive voting fraud from coast to coast, but I think the vast majority of Americans have woken up, and are repulsed by what they’re seeing from the RATS. Time will tell!

Too bad the GOP couldn’t find a good candidate to run against Brown in Ohio -

I wish one of those seats was here in Minnesota.

Tina Smith was appointed to fill the seat vacated when Al Franken resigned. Tina is as far left as the come but she works really hard at hiding it.

We have a top notch candidate in Karin Housley. She is smart, hard-working and has raised a really respectable amount of cash.

But she just can’t close the deal. She’s behind by about 5-9 points depending on what poll you believe.

What I'd love to see is a Trump rally in the central valley of California, in Jim Robinson country.

If Trump held a rally in Fresno or Bakersfield in support of House candidates like Elizabeth Heng (CA-16), Kevin McCarthy* (CA-23), Devon Nunes* (CA-22), and David Valadao* (CA-21), he would certainly boost the chances of Heng flipping a Democrat district, while giving the farmers of the central valley something to rally about.

Michigan appears to be a state that can be flipped. The “venerable” Debbie Stabenow appears to be vulnerable now, thanks largely to the Kavanaugh blunder by the Social Democrats. John James closed an 18 point lead to 9 points in the latest poll. He’s got momentum and Don jr and Kid Rock will be campaigning for him this weekend. PDJT will be in Pontiac Oct. 17. If we could dethrone Hillary’s buddy in the Senate and return the seat to the Republicans (it was formerly held by Republican Spence Abraham) it would be the greatest election evah! Only a slight exaggeration.

“going on offense”? Then what the hell have they been doing for the past several months, curled up in a fetal position waiting for good news?

I think it’s highly likely that the GOP will pick up six or seven seats in the Senate and maybe as many as 11. Even John James, who has a very long row to hoe, has closed the gap on Stabenow. With some earlier, more extensive support I think he would’ve been a shoe-in. It takes a lot of money to cover Michigan.

It even appears that Mitch McConnell is starting to enjoy winning and has grown a spine an at least one testicle. After the Kavanaugh confirmation, he was heard to utter, “This winning shit is pretty cool!”
