The husband of “Fox and Friends” co-host Ainsley Earhardt filed for divorce on Wednesday — just a day after she announced the couple’s separation amid claims that he had an affair, The Post has learned.
William Proctor brought the contested proceeding to Manhattan Supreme Court, meaning he expects a fight over money or custody of their 2-year-old daughter.
“I am devastated about this situation and did not envision this for the future of our family,” he told The Post.
Earhardt, 42, and Proctor, 34, married six years ago.

I never could have married. I needed my off time to prepare mentally for the next day. I had too much to prove professionally to myself. The mental preparation could be a whopper and a bottle of cabernet-no cooking involved. A ballgame on the tube was nirvana. Sex was either feast or famine. Now I’m a millionaire+ and the rich uncle, treated like royalty. Would’t have it any other way.

When my ex started making more money than me she got real cocky and liked to rub my nose in it. It even made her a meaner drunk.

I almost stopped watching Fox and Friends because she looked so miserable as if she were sucking lemons and then forcing a smile when she finished a sentence. I thought that perhaps she had decided she was a liberal and couldn't stand pretending she liked conservatives but was staying on the show for the millions it brought to her. I never guessed it was about her marriage. This is especially sad for their little one.
I will withhold judgment. You never know what has really been going on in a marriage.
You would not believe how many people were shocked when my ex divorced me. I did not not cheat on her and she did not cheat on me. I know that because she moved 1500 miles away and has never remarried or even dated. That was 17 years ago. No need to go into why she left, but I tell the guys in my men’s Bible study that after my first marriage that I never realized a marriage could be so peaceful like my current wife and I have. I think most of them are jealous.
After my ex left, I had lunch with or former Pastor. During that time, I asked him about the affair the Chairman of the Church Board of Trustees had with the Christian School principal. I was shocked when he said, “If people knew what it was like to live with that women, people wouldn’t be so judgmental.” WOW!!! I had figured long before that she must have been a real ball buster, but I did not expect my former pastor to say that. My former pastor and I had a high level of trust with each other, and I never repeated the story. He passed away many years ago.
I recall that Dr. Laura at one time always took the side of the wife when a husband had a sexual relationship outside of marriage, until one day she got a letter from a man who cheated explaining how his wife was never available for sex and how demeaning and depressing that was to him. While he admitted it was wrong to have an affair, he was desperate for attention, approval, affection, and sex.
After that letter, Dr. Laura started asking women how easy did they make it for their husband to have sex with them. If they withheld sex or acted as if it was a chore, Dr. Laura told them they bore a lot of responsibility for their husband’s decision to look elsewhere. A man can take only so much rejection.
I look at DJT Jr dating Kimberley Guilfoyle who is 8 or 9 years older than he is, and think the same thing.
