Here is the result I got:
You Feel Like Spring
You have reached a point in your life where new opportunities are coming your way.
The future is exciting and bright. You are excited to start making plans.
It's likely that you have been stuck in bit of a rut, but that's all about to change.
You're ready to explore, learn, challenge yourself, and grow. All of a sudden, the world is much more colorful.
Well now, just WHO was responsible for him being in last night? LOL!
I have Raimis’s nest up and have been watching them bring in new sticks this morning. They started earlier than usual.
They’re getting better about not knocking sticks off when they land now. Not time to start weaving sticks yet. They need to get a solid base set up and haven’t quite gotten the hang of it. They need a couple more long, thick sticks on the right and they’ll stand a good chance of building a nest that will survive. It’s interesting watching them learn.
It wasn’t too hot today due to being socked in with clouds. A stiff breeze helped a lot. Tomorrow will warm up to around 80, they say, then Thursday should be drastically different. We’re looking at highs in the 60s to low 70s and some lows in the low to mid 40s over the next seven days.
Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))
I hope the weather wasn’t too crazy yesterday.
We get our “fun” with the front later today when it comes through.
Have you cooled off quite a bit since it went through there?
Howdy, EGC! (((hugs)))
Thanks for taking the quiz! That’s a good result! I think Gizmo is helping you get out of any rut you might be in LOL!
You’re getting up now and it’s time for me to head out soon. Have great fun out at the lake!
I know, I know....but I am a sucker for an orange kitty. LOL!
One of them nearly knocked a stick out of the pile as they flew off, but it wobbled and then stayed. It is fun to watch them figure out the puzzle.
It’s 54 here right now. Doesn’t feel that cool here in the house, but when I was trying to get Ginger out....thank goodness Peaches didn’t show up to run back in....it was pretty nippy. LOVE it. For now. LOL!
Guess I’ll head out soon. Still playing catch-up after the trip. But it was 200% worth it! Such fun!
It IS pretty hard to turn them down, isn’t it? LOL
Raimis has gotten pretty good at not knocking sticks off when he lands or takes off but Milda is a klutz. But they’re making progress after several days of bringing many sticks and not a one staying put.
That’s a significant drop in temp you’ve had! It’s still 75 here and the wind’s picking up a little. It feels pretty nice outside right now.
Yeah, it’ll take a couple more nights of good sleep to catch up after all the fun you had over the weekend. It did look like y’all had a great time together in the pix you posted.
It cooled off quite a bit. We did get some rain and wind but luckily the line of rain and wind passed us before it ended up becoming a QLCS and caused damage around the OKC area.
Glad you got off lucky regarding the storms but I’m sorry to hear OKC had damage.
I don’t know what to expect here since we’ll have some effect from Hurricane Michael mixed in with the front. In just the past hour, rain has begun to build up in TN and south of us from Michael. I noticed when I looked out the window a couple of minutes ago the wind has kicked up quite a bit.
I’m not too worried about our weather but am worried about my step-mother in Ft. Walton. At the moment Michael’s eye is still moving north, with a bead on Ft. Walton. I won’t sleep well tonight.
HMMMM, well my thoughts and prayers are with everyone in Michael’s path. Everyone stay safe down there.
TO THE
FR CANTEEN
Good morning, Everyone.
Good morning to our
AWESOME
Military, our Allies, and their families.
Thank you, Luvy, for preparing the Canteen
for today's activities.
Looks like fall temps will be heading our way, soon.
I, for one, will be happy to see/feel less humidity.
The dew has been so bad that it takes days before the grass will dry.
Prayers for all those in the path of Hurricane Michael.
You Feel Like Winter
You've reached a point in your life
where you need a lot of downtime.
You need to rest, recuperate, and reevaluate.
Give yourself this time. It's possible that you've suffered some losses.
Or maybe life just has you worn down.
Take time to relax. You will emerge a better person
if you are able to find true quiet and stillness.
I wonder if this is what Shakespeare meant by
"the winter of our discontent"?
Life can certainly drag a person down.
By the time some of you get here, I'll be gone.
Need to get to the gym, early as I have to wait and wait and wait
for FedEx to deliver my new phone.
They came yesterday (late in the day) and
I don't know if the girls didn't do their job on alerting us OR
the driver didn't knock hard enough, but I found a sticker on the back door.
It surely wasn't the normal delivery person
who has previously delivered to the front door. SMH
So, come on in and sit for a while.
There's always plenty of coffee, tea;
pancakes, conversation, silliness,
and plain old BS
REMEMBER THEM
