A special education teacher in Minnesota was placed on administrative leave after sending a tweet appearing to call for the killing of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
The instructor at Intermediate School District 917’s Alliance Education Center in Rosemount sent the tweet on Saturday, shortly after Kavanaugh was sworn in, the Minneapolis Star-Tribune reported.
“So whose [sic] gonna take one for the team and kill Kavanaugh?” The tweet reportedly read.
Superintendent Mark Zuzek confirmed that the employee was placed on paid administrative leave “pending the outcome of the investigation.”
“Pursuant with the data practices act, we are limited to providing additional information regarding this matter,” Zuzek’s said in a statement.
The Star-Tribune did not name the teacher because she has not been charged with a crime.
The tweet was reported to the FBI and the U.S. Secret Service.
A spokesperson for the FBI in Minneapolis told the newspaper that the bureau was aware of the tweet.
The Dakota County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement on Monday that it was aware of the post but neither the Rosemount Police Department nor the sheriff’s office are investigating.

She teaches horse riding at a school for special needs kids. Only in America.
Someone should contrast the kid glove treatment of this teacher with that of the poor Florida conservative teacher that was outed and fired for espousing her political views on personal time.

I once looked to the Northern part of the Midwest as an area of saner, calmer, more rational people, yet the did elect pro-Stalin George McGovern to the Senate (and he kept up supporting all sorts of communist fronts during the Vietnam war), and a few other leftwing Democrats.
Now they have Sen. Heitkamp, a lightweight if I ever saw one (Our slogan for this election should be: “Heidi Heidi Ho’; It’s Time to go!”
Idaho and Iowa gave use leftists such as Sen Richard Clark, Tom “Hanoi” Harkin, leftist John Culver, and S. Dakota (if I remember correctly), gave us the PLO’s top supporter in the Senate, James Abourezk (PLO front supporter of PHRC and its subfronts, the ADC, and others).
Wisconsin always has their resident reds in national politics, as well as wishy washy Republicans (Don Riegle, who was on the KGB “influence” list - available online at www.keywiki.org, search for “Edward Kennedy” for the full FBI report from Hoover).
