Wait. Didn't environmentalists demand we use ethanol blends because it was better for the environment?
Ethanol blends increase smog?
I can't keep up with this new fangled 'science'.

OK this is one of the very few example that I can point to that instead of making Trump appear smart. It makes him look really stupid.
We have enough problems with E10. And the subsidies should all end. BTW if you use E15 with small engines then the warranty is automatically void. That is how bad it is.

Agree with previous poster......who’s feeding him his info ?
....a kiss to farmers who’ve been temporarily affected with tariffs ? Too soon to sway Iowa voters.

I don't like this, but Trump did support ethanol in the primary. Is there any obvious political motive behind this that could have an affect on the midterms?

I’m ok with this, because this is not a mandate, this is a free-market removal of restrictions.
Anyone who buys E10 or E15 is a fool, but foolishness should not be illegal.

A coordinated “NO ETHANOL!” chant at Trump rallies might be in order.

I, and certainly many millions of other people, would love to have free market access to readily available non-ethanol blended gasoline. It currently definitely is not easily found nor is it cheap.

This is a serious wrong move for Trukp.
It decreases gas mileage, damages car components and small engines, AND pollutes the groundwater WORSE than burning just gasoline. And artificially props up an otherwise unwanted industry.

You dont prop up the free market, the free market determines what succeeds and what fails.
I have never met anyone who was excited to buy ethanol.
