If you mean reservation when you use Rez, know this that President Nixon signed the Native Claims settlement act in 1971, setting up Native owner corporations and establishing ownership of land.
“...seriously! How can anyone so dumb and inarticulate end up as a senator? Unbelievable!!!!!!”
You need to take a look around! Patty Murray, Debbie Stabmenow, Claire McCaskill, Mazie Hirono, Sheldon $hithouse in the Senate. Then bounce over to the House where the list is endless!~ Pewlosi, Mad Max, Guam is tipping over Johnson, Shiela Jackson-Lee..........! If either House vacates their chamber, the resulting aggregate IQ is higher that if they are there.
I bet she agreed to that “pairing” arrangement with Daines as a condition to not have her committee assignments pulled.
I could see her doing what Jim Jeffords did in 2001 if the Senate were to go 50-50 - flipping to Independent and caucusing with the Dems in exchange for powerful Committee chairmanships as retribution for any retribution carried out against her...therefore, essential the Senate does NOT go 50-50 and we instead gain seats to further marginalize her antics.
If Sarah goes up against her, she will lose if half of Republicans still support her!!!!!
100% correct
Palin and Alaskans need to remember what Proverbs calls the problem of “going surety for a stranger”.
In the biblical context, it means you do not co sign a loan for someone you don’t know, a stranger, meaning someone you cannot vouch for their ability to repay the loan.
In common usage, it just means that you should never stake your reputation upon the supposed reputation of a stranger.
In this era of John Roberts’ betrayal on Obamacare, I did not throw my hat in the ring on Kavanaugh because there is no way to verify the left or the right’s claims about him... only known facts like going to Yale and Georgetown indicate he’s just another Elite.
Sorry if any of my Freeper friends get mad at me for my neutrality here, but John Roberts proves the prudence of my position.
In the same manner, going after Murky for her Kavanaugh vote is not prudent, nor wise.
Let someone challenge her in 2022. cough*cough
Let someone challenge her in 2022. cough*cough
Correct and excellent points Sontagged!
We need to leave Murk alone for now, wait until after the midterms.
If its perceived that the Alaska GOP is bullying her, that will create sympathy for her and her Rat causes. We have time to deal with the Murk. (All in good time, my pretty, all in good time.)
