The battle for the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh as Justice on the Supreme Court has resulted in a great tragedy. Michael Avenatti's appearances on television are likely due to be sharply cut back. Why? Because liberals in the mainstream media are now placing the blame for the failure of the Democrats to derail the Kavanaugh confirmation squarely at the feet of Avenatti.
One example was on MSNBC Live on Saturday as Kavanaugh was being confirmed. Charlie Savage of the New York Times claimed that Avenatti "did a huge favor to the Trump White House" by tossing wild charges into the mix.

Ah well you see there were these unsubstantiated and frankly unlikely allegations which witnesses said either they didn’t know or it didn’t happen, and that looked even sketchier if you used even a tiny bit of critical thinking. And then Avenatti did the same thing.
Who does the MSM blame for Congress critters including the clearly absurd claims in their counts, insinuations, and even some descriptions of accusations?
The complicit media and supine republicans made them lazy. The “anonymous “ complaint was supposed to result in withdrawal of the nomination. They can’t think of anything else but soreloserism and yowling like maniacs by way of back up plan
I suggest that Creepy start wearing bulletproof vests and underwear. If he pissed off another creepy clown politician in NY who just happened to have friends in The Family, Avenatti might just commit suicide one night by shooting himself in the head 10 times, fall into a vat of fresh union-poured cement, or crash his car with his blood alcohol at about .30 (a fine Chianti).
However, the late Gov. Mario Cuomo once said that there was no Mafia. It was just a fake group used to smear all Italians.

I suspect Avenatti’s political career just did a “Cheech and Chong” (for those who missed the movie, it was “Up In Smoke”).

The MSM made a hero out of the creepy porn lawyer, he was a favorite guest because he hated Trump so much. The media is killing their own party by promoting these kooks and the violent protests - amazing.
