Hey there, Kathy.
Yes, it was a fun day, as always. The highlight was when a friend showed up with his adorable little grandson to check out the museum. He was one of my “adoptees” several years ago when he was deployed to Afghanistan with the National Guard. Due to that “adoption”, he and his wife and Hubby and I became friends and are friends to this day.
No work today...I’m in no mood to do anything for “them”. Not a happy camper.
Gee, I can’t imagine why you wouldn’t be in the mood to do anything for “them”. :-)
Did you and your brother knock off a bunch of things on your list?
"...save those who have been called upon to govern us, leading us to that victory which is from heaven,..."
Yes!! An excellent morning prayer. Thank you.
I am so disgusted with my rino senator, Murkowski....PP lackey.
Good evening, ML...((HUGS))...and a Blessed Lord’s Day and Shavua Tov to you and yours.
Hope you and Penny, and maybe Blue, had a good day.
Shavua Tov.
Wishing all our Jewish troops, veterans, families, allies, friends, and Canteeners
a peaceful and prosperous week.
Prayers for our troops, veterans, families, allies, friends, and Canteeners
for a safe and peaceful week ahead.
He Who blessed our forefathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - may He bless the fighters of the Israel Defense Force, who stand guard over our land and the cities of our G-d from the border of the Lebanon to the desert of Egypt, and from the Great Sea unto the approach of the Aravah, on the land, in the air, and on the sea.
May HASHEM cause the enemies who rise up against us to be struck down before them. May the Holy One, Blessed is He, preserve and rescue our fighting men from every trouble and distress and from every plague and illness, and may He send blessing and success in their every endeavor.
May He lead our enemies under their sway and may He grant them salvation and crown them with victory. And may there be fulfilled for them the verse: For it is Hashem, your G-d, Who goes with you to battle your enemies for you to save you.
G-d bless and keep your children safe, Alouette.
That is really neat about your highlight of the day...glad you got to share the museum with them.
Did the little one gravitate to any one thing?
God Bless our military men and women who have given their all.
Thanks, unique.
The list tomorrow....he needed sleep badly. He can only be on the slope so many days with this company, but he got here yesterday evening and goes back Tuesday. He needs the physical and mental rest first.
I just took a pizza out of the oven, so he can eat and take another nap if he wants. He has also spent some good amount of time on the phone with his wife in Georgia.
Yes, it WAS neat. Would’ve been neater if his wife had been with them but it was a “boys day out”. LOL
The little one seemed most interested in the Jeeps. We have one that we allow kids to sit in, with helmets and small cammo shirts they can wear to have their pix taken. His face lit up when I told him he could sit in it. He was in shy-mode up to that point but after that, I was his best friend.
LOL! Anything with wheels...and “she let me sit in it!”
