They negotiate about funding all the time.
There are plenty of GOPee Senators against funding The Wall.
The Senate still has to vote FOR it, no matter who initially gets the funding stuck into some piece of kegislation.
When immoral people believe only in vengeance, there will never be a lesson to learn.
In order to keep them safe...
The entire proceedings and vote will have to be moved to a military facility and temporary housing for the Senators will need to be in order, tents preferably, with Mil-Spec Latrines.
Perhaps shut down flight ops @ Area 51 for the duration and ship them their w/ only one news feed out that all the media have to share, CSPAN works for me.

McCain was part of the cabal, no question about it.
And further....
The timing of McCain’s departure from this earth was certainly fortuitous in that his interference in the investigation would have made it harder to run this scandal to ground. So yes, his absence was a YUGE plus.
I have to hand it McConnell and Grassley for standing up to the shrieking mob.
I will admit that I didn’t have ANY faith in McConnell, but he definitely showed spine.
Grassley was SO pissed, it was refreshing to see a Republican stand up to the democommies and put them in their place.
God bless them both.
Mitch has told us to expect a post mid-terms fight for the wall and i believe he has planned the fight...he seems to enjoy winning almost as much as we do...
