BISMARCK — A Minnesota woman pleaded guilty to voting twice during the 2016 election in a Cass County (N.D.) court Tuesday, Sept. 25, marking a rare prosecution of such an offense in North Dakota.

Hannan Yassin Aboubaker of Shakopee, Minn., entered an Alford plea on a Class A misdemeanor "election offense," meaning she didn't admit wrongdoing but acknowledged she may have been found guilty based on the evidence. Her sentence was deferred and she was placed on unsupervised probation for six months, two months after which the case would be dismissed and the file would be sealed.

Descended from the Vikings no doubt. Wonder if her great great great...(x20) grandfather was called Salim Abubacker Gustafsson.

I suspect ‘rare’ refers to the fact that these are seldom prosecuted.

“I love the headline’s attempt to imply that the practice is rare. “

Aha, that’s how Heifer Heitkamp got in!

In the next election after this one she will be free to do it again. It is no wonder there is no fear of being caught committing vote fraud.

Can her visa or naturalization be yanked?

It will take a real viking (Kirstjen Nielsen) to drive out a fake viking.

New Hampshire has had,for some time,a "Same Day Registration" law which says that on Election Day you can show up at a polling place,claim that you've just moved to New Hampshire and,without providing *any* proof for your claim,you're allowed to vote.This law was passed while the Rats controlled the Governor's chair and the state legislature.

It's been well documented that busloads of people come up to NH on Election Day and vote.The NH GOP has clearly stated that all four Rats representing the state in DC are the beneficiaries of massive voter fraud...and they have proof.

The question for me, will the North Dakota ID laws flip the election and Tester loses?
````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````
Maybe if Tester moves to North Dakota from Montana.
Remember how every several months a big article would come out, “X% of Americans Incorrectly Believe Obama is a muslim”.
Court cases involving treason are really rare but that doesn’t diminish the severity of the crime or mean that there aren’t many more perpetrators.
Double voting isn’t rare, but a case involving it is.
I see that, too. The headline implies illegal voting is rare. Then the very first sentence of the article says it is the prosecution of illegal voting that is rare. BIG difference!
The article calls it "rare" because it has indeed been rare (up until now) that Somalians have voted twice in U.S. elections.
But give it time...
“New Hampshire has had,for some time,a “Same Day Registration” law which says that on Election Day you can show up at a polling place,claim that you’ve just moved to New Hampshire and,without providing *any* proof for your claim,you’re allowed to vote.”
Ayotte lost the Senate race in 2016 by 1000 votes. 6500 people did same day registration on election day. Over 5000 of them never got a NH drivers license or registered a vehicle within 1 year thereafter.
Source: https://www.wmur.com/article/new-voting-statistics-show-6540-people-registered-to-vote-in-nh-last-year-using-out-of-state-drivers-licenses-as-ids/12196129
Ayotte had the Senate seat stolen from her.
