At this point, even to those who haven't followed the sexual harassment accusations against Brett Kavanaugh from the beginning, are finally realizing that there is nothing there. Either he never did anything at all to Christine Ford (which is by an extreme margin the most likely scenario) or he did do something but it is not supported by anyone other than Christine Ford, even her close friend and others who should have been able to corroborate it if it was true.
So, the final argument against Brett Kavanaugh is that he doesn't have the temperament to be a Supreme Court justice as demonstrated by his behavior when defending himself. The actual arguments that should be put forth by those who oppose him is that he is not competent enough or doesn't adhere to the Constitution or has shown unfairness in his past decisions on the circuit court. Of course, all those arguments would fall flat because they are clearly not true.
Regarding temperament, Brett Kavanaugh displayed frustration and temper at the way he and his family have been most unfairly treated. He talked back to some accusers, I mean senators, and raised his voice and vehemently denied all the accusations against him. He notably did not display animus towards Christine Ford, who, through benefit of the doubt may actually believe she was assaulted and that Brett Kavanaugh was the one who did it; even if that belief comes from memories that were recreated during psychotherapy or hypnosis.
If a judge is faced with a situation where he is very personally affected he has the option and duty to recuse himself. Brett Kavanaugh did not have that option in this case.

They would have criticized Kavanaugh if he didn’t fight back.
Judge Kavanaugh has a unique very experience to take to the SCOTUS. He will remember it when deciding cases that involve political issues. The left now has a a real reason to fear him.
What matters is his judicial temperament and from what I’ve read it is beyond reproach. JUSTICE Kavanaugh will never hear a case on the SCOTUS where his personal character is being attacked.
And IIRC, Ford added ‘I was afraid he was going to rape me’ well after her letter was exposed. And from then on Kavanaugh was called ‘a rapist’. And from that, came the termites accusing him of standing in a hall near where a girl was being gang raped. And exposing himself to a drunk girl. These allegations were trolled by Leftists wanting to pile on. Kavanaugh will undoubtedly rule by the Constitution, but I cannot imagine he will ever forget his ‘experience’ with the Soros Machine.

In fact, the left may have forced him FAR further to the right because of their actions than he would of been.

I for one was very pleased to see him expressing the emotions appropriate to the character assassination he was a victim of. To say he does not have the temperament to be a justice because he failed to resemble a palace eunuch just goes to show how much feminism has poisoned our culture.
Any expression of personal anger by a man no matter how warranted is now seen as an endorsement of violence against women and other members of the victim classes. Political anger and social anger are alright as they serve the cause of the SJW movement. But a national televised “Come to Jesus” moment? Proof that Kavanaugh lacks the correct temperament.
Those who don’t fall on their swords when their guilt is revealed by the tribunal betray the march to Utopia. That is intolerable to the Left.

That is what I was thinking. He will not forget this treatment, particularly how it has affected his family.
Feinstein and the Dems blew it big time. As I understand it, even some Democrats are appalled at what happened here.
He was restrained. I would have blasted the f*cking hypocrites in a tirade they would never forget.
Exactly what I thought this morning. If he hadn't fought back, they would have said it was a confession that he did it. I know detectives who do interviews of alleged sex offenders. They know whether someone is guilty or not based on one question:
"What should we do with people who commit these offenses?"
The ones who say they should be shot, their bodies burned and the ashes dumped in the river, and then vehemently deny they did it, are not guilty.
The ones who say "they are troubled people who should receive counselling" are guilty.
Kavanaugh's response is of the "not guilty type."
He was rationally angry. I’ve seen irrational anger and he was not irrationally angry. He was in control of his anger. Even accusing the Dems of conspiracy was rational as all the venomous attacks on him were coming from the Democrat-snakes. If he was irrational, he would have cussed at them and called them the names many of us think when listening to the unreasonable, irrational trash the left spouts.
If he didn't fight back they'd have said it proves he's guilty.
If he lashed out at Ford they'd have said he was attacking the victim, which proves he's guilty.
What he did instead was attack them. And everyone in America who isn't a leftist activist saw him as an honorable man full of righteous outrage that his reputation and name could be dragged through the mud to score some political points.
If he would have remained calm and composed, the left would have described him as "cold and calculating - showing no remorse for what he did to Christine Ford."
They are scared of him just as they are scared of Trump.
Their plans to fundamentally transform this country are sailing away. Their intention was to double down on what obama did to us with hillary as their leader.
All that is drifting away, so they are throwing a temper tantrum.
