Louisiana Sen. John Kennedy (R) lamented the battle over Brett Kavanaugh's Supreme Court nomination in an interview Friday night, asserting that neither Kavanaugh nor one of his accusers, Christine Blasey Ford, would come out as "winners" following Saturday's vote on his confirmation.
Ford has alleged along with two other women that Kavanaugh engaged in sexual assault during his high school and college years during periods of heavy drinking, allegations which Kavanaugh has denied.
Kennedy told Fox News that no matter the outcome of Saturday's vote, which it appears will be in Kavanaugh's favor, the process was so tainted that neither accused nor accuser could be vindicated in the end.
"There are no winners," Kennedy said Friday. "I'll bet you this time...tomorrow night Judge Kavanaugh will be confirmed and I'm very pleased. [But] he won't feel like a winner."
The Louisiana Republican and Senate Judiciary Committee member blamed the panel's ranking Democrat, Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), for keeping Ford's allegations under wraps, which Feinstein has maintained was done to protect Ford's request for anonymity, for tainting the process.
"I bet Dr. Ford and her family will not feel like a winner. And it all could have been avoided, if Sen. Feinstein had just turned over Dr. Ford's anonymous note...to us," Kennedy said. "We could have investigated without the intergalactic freak show."

Kennedy attacked Democrats on Thursday over the allegations facing Kavanaugh after the publication of the FBI's supplemental background investigation, telling reporters that some parts of the report "make me angry" without explaining further.
"Let me say that again: I really wish you could read this report. There are things in here that really make me angry,” he said Thursday after viewing the report.
"Anybody who thinks politics isn’t involved in this ought to put down the bong.”

The FBI has all the emails and text messages from the ex-FBI agent who was pressuring witnesses and the agent has a direct link to all the deep state FBI and DOJ people who tried to take President Trump down.

His (first) greatest moment will be when he becomes a Supreme Court Judge. And there may be many even greater moments after that, with regard to his rulings.

Dr. Ford came away with at least $700,000 tax free from GoFundMe contributions. That would have not happened had the investigation been kept quite and Dr Ford had remained anonymous. I’m sure that Dr Ford feels like a winner from bringing forth her manufactured, false accusation.
At some point (hopefully) possibly after we win, with God’s help, the midterms, or when Trump wins his second term, the spoiled brats out there who are being used by dark political forces to wreak havoc, will finally realize how a democratic republic works, that mob rule is NOT how you get your own way, that elections speak for the majority, and that if you’re in the minority, you just have to WAIT. It should become abundantly clear to them, by then, that all their tantrums and holding their breath, did not move the dial one iota, and that they made complete fools of themselves. (Okay, well, it may take longer than that for them to admit they are fools).

Yes, I believe that the appointment is the only real reward he sought. He will do us proud just to prove to the naysayers that he’s not how the Left tried to portray him. And as for his kids in later years, he will have build up such a sterling reputation that they will never consider how disgusting his confirmation hearing was.
In a few months he will feel fine.
Everyone who reads about it will see it is lies, like they do Clarence Thomas.
