Yeah, they put the fireworks down towards the lake on the cove. There’s a big grassy field on a gentle slope down to the water. Good for sitting on the ground or in lawn chairs. Some years they have a live band out on the patio in front of the restaurant. Usually we get there real early, let whatever grandkid we have swim, eat in their restaurant that night and just enjoy the music and people till the fireworks. They are good patriots and make it a fun night for all.

Well...it's time to get these pictures posted.
First Night, Thursday, October 4, 2018
'Gunner was the head chef for the evening.
Grilled up some to-die-for ribs.
We also had salad [thanks BT!] and other side dishes.
....and PIE!!! Thanks to Wneighbor!
There were only a few of us there that first night
but we managed to get a lot of gabbing done!
and lots of laughs had by all!
....and plenty of critters to entertain us, too!
