If true, it is more perjury from Ford. Didn’t Mitchell specifically ask Ford if she wrote the letter herself? And Ford testified under oath that she did write the letter to Feinstein herself. Mitchell likely knew about that error, so the more WE find out proves Mitchell’s incisive questioning. And that Ford was one bold liar. McLean knows Keyser from school, too. So neither Ford nor McLean would use ‘he’ assuming in error that ‘Leland’ was a male. So who wrote the letter to Feinstein?

Actually, I was merely contesting the totally inaccurate headline of the linked article.
But on McLean, I don’t think she was planted, but it is very weird that there is only one degree of separation between Ford and two of the people involved in the Steele dossier (McCabe shares a lawyer with Ford, Laufman is the lawyer for Ford’s friend McLean). The conspiracy theory/speculation is maybe they reached out to Ford in the first place:
