A campaign that aims to get millennials to register to vote turned heads by enlisting the help of actors posing as elderly, white Trump supporters.
The ad, titled "Theyre doing fine, are you?" was created as part of the Knock the Vote movement, started by ACRONYM, an organization that claims to be "the largest digital program focused on electing Democrats to state legislative seats across the country."
In the cheeky one-minute PSA, a group of elderly white actors purported to be Trump supporters urges "young people" not to get out and vote on Election Day for a plethora of outrageous reasons.
"Tax cuts for the rich?" one man says. "Hell yeah, Im rich as f*ck."
"Climate change? Thats a you problem," says one elderly woman. "I'll be dead soon."
The ad then address a serious issue with millennial voters young Americans have a historically low turnout for elections, even though many of them say they'll vote beforehand, either on social media or to their friends.
"You won't vote, you young people never do," a man and woman assert in the ad. "But I do," echoes a choir of seniors.
"Midterms, primaries, every single election well be there, but you wont," they continue. "Because were a generation of doers, not whiners. And we're doing great."
The sarcastic ad was shared on YouTube, where it racked up nearly 15,000 views.

The end was pretty good. “We’re a generation of doers, not whiners”.
These ads are intended to foment intergenerational warfare. Using actors to make lame points few if any senior citizens would even think let alone verbalize? Really disgraceful.
PSA is a public service announcement. This was a campaign ad.
The differences between parties is getting clearer all the time
America First
vs
Me First
Despite the ads evil intent... there are parts that peg things pretty well. “We are from a generation of doers not a generation of whiners, and we always vote, but you won’t.”
Thats like the knock em in the nuts and the f... you ads they ran in 2012
Disgusting
Besides if it aint playing on Netflix or Snapchat the millennials wont see it
So typical divide Americans and pit them against each other. FDR started this crap using class warfare and now it’s all they have.
I videoed myself taking apart a shotgun and got 267,000 views, so unless this thing goes viral... I don't think we have a lot to worry about.
Yeah but we can show the ad on Fox.
Get old folks mad and out there to vote!
So it serves a purpose for us at this point.
So disrespectful.
Oh yeah, the “never anyone over 30” again. Everyone is trying to be hippies again (who are now easily over 60).
Dems - the party of division.
Never mind if it weren’t for the oldsters, there would be no youngsters. Period.
You are right the youngsters won’t do anything as usual in response, but it will piss off a lot of us oldsters.
When they say they are going to register to vote against everything I stand for, remind them that when they register they also get their names put on the Jury Duty roster.
Yes, that was my takeaway also.
Not satisfied with racial strife, the Left now wants our youth to despise old people.
The Left is a disgrace to humankind.
They missed a great line - And you pay for our Social Security and health insurance!
The only reason they can get away with these ads is that they are directed at a particular audience. No one else sees them.
Put them on TV, though, and they will backfire.
This is why I hate the Left. They never stop with the psychological manipulation.
“The end was pretty good. Were a generation of doers, not whiners.”
True, but then the ending logo is of Trump getting punched in the face. Can you imagine how upset Liberals would be if there was a logo like that about Hillary?
