perhaps. but all that is needed is one more RINO more interested in being loved by the left than doing their job.
It’s a gut feeling.
Collins has been pissed at dem activists for wks.
First they tried to bribe her and then they resorted to threatening her and her staff.
I’ve maintained all along that Republican stupidity & cowardice would prevail and he won’t be confirmed....
The thing McConnell does best is counting the votes and responding accordingly. We’re about to see how masterful he is at this.
First, she said she wasn’t worried about Kavanaugh overturning Roe v. Wade.
She said she thought the FBI investigation was adequate.
At this point based on those two things, I don’t see how she won’t be a ‘Yes’.
But she probably felt the need to explain herself, and Mitch probably understood that.
I just hope Senator Gaines makes it back from Montana for the Sunday vote alive! Let there be no Clinton’s or any other democrats near his plane!
Calm voice of reason.
From your lips to God’s ears.
Murkowski had better vote for this fine nominee (”may not be the right man at this time” is NOT a good reason, indeed is not any kind of reason at all....to turn him down)
she will end her political career if she goes along with, supports the Nazi Big Lie style smear of Kavanaugh
especially since not a single allegation was ever proved
it was all lies, from beginning to end...as even the 7th, new FBI report substantiates
I think Collins is a no. She held back so cloture passed thus GOP cannot hold off the final vote. She always said she would vote the same as Murkowski.
She wouldn’t have a presser just to say she is a yes.
It will be up to Manchin and no way he goes yes even if it means his seat. Dems keep their folks in line unlike GOP
McConnell sucks at strongarming
The *itch (Murkowski) was just reelected in 2016, so she figures everyone will forget her no vote before she has to run again.
“McCains family might read a statement”
‘A seance was held last night where John appeared and told the family that Kavanaugh secretly visited Jeffery Epstein’s Island multiple times.’
I just found this article posted 6 minutes ago, and it's the only article I can find saying Daines will vote.
“PREDICTION: if he is not confirmed the first person to come out and say that was a good decision will be > Romney”
That’s a fact.
Most likely God willing it will end up with the same votes that happened this morning. Unless these Senators are total dickheads, you would NOT vote YES today and vote NO tomorrow..either you want him or not..if Collins and others didn’t want him they could have ended it this morning with a NO vote, there would be no vote tomorrow in that case..the White House says they “Believe” they have the votes that it will be exactly like it played out this morning. Its the “Believe” I am worried about, either they know it or not
Press conference is a bad sign I think
of course The gift that keeps on giving I’m sure they will open a time capsule each year
Well Alaska, just don’t forget this 5 years from now... I am sure she is hoping you will
I can’t see any DEM being vote 50, even Manchin, even though he knows a no vote ends his elected political career... a yes vote that puts Kavanaugh over ends any shot a career after hes voted out.
“Collins has been pissed at dem activists for wks. First they tried to bribe her and then they resorted to threatening her and her staff.”
But she is pro-abortion. For some people, that is the be all and end all.
Ployster Coons loses. Hopefully his exposed hatred for what is good will strike against his Democratic pal Carper, who is up for reelection this year.
