Retired Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens blasted nominee Brett Kavanaugh at a private event in Florida on Thursday — saying “his performance in the hearings” should disqualify him.
“I thought [Kavanaugh] had the qualifications for the Supreme Court, should he be selected,” Stevens explained, speaking in Boca Raton.
“I’ve changed my views for reasons that have no relationship to his intellectual ability,” he said, according to The Palm Beach Post.
Stevens, 98, has reportedly praised Kavanaugh in the past for his work as a judge, specifically in the 2014 book, “Six Amendments: How and Why We Should Change the Constitution.” But everything changed after his Judiciary Committee testimony.

Stevens probably cannot remember that he was at the top of a decision making system that is supposed to be based in reason, logic and fact. Not emotion. Dr. Ford and her supporters want to say - she was attacked and she has a memory of the attack because she remembers it as traumatic. So deny Kavanaugh the nomination because her emotion is strong, even if her claims and the supposed supporting evidence she brought is not probative of her claim that he (as opposed to anyone else in the world) assaulted her.
Many people have a price.... give them enough money and they will say almost anything whether they believe it or not. Democrats and liberals have no scruples or morals. Look carefully at the demonstrators today. Ugly fat women with no makeup and sensible shoes or young and old dikes or people want to get attention and gain a following. Then there are those who will join a movement just to be able to feel like they are accepted and belong to a group. Mob rule must be put down now.

Last night when I saw this on CNN and MSNBC I thought the same thing, easy for him to coast through his appointment with Democrats full support because he was a liberal appointed by a Republican....then act like he knows what it was like.

It's clear that the anonymous Internet accusations about John Paul Stevens being a gang-raping pedophile are true.

John Paul will STFU pretty soon. I hope he repents for his evil actions while on the court so he gets to meet Saint Pope John Paul II rather than the guy he worked for when sitting on the SCOTUS—Lucifer.

Stevens was a lousy judge appointed by an unelected, inexperienced, nieve, happy guy president (Ford) who could’nt even walk on stairs without falling on his ass. How the decision to put Stevens on the court was reached we will probably never know, but we do know it was a hell of a mistake.
He also reeked of pot and cheap booze.
