F’n Murkowski l don’t see Manchin’s vote Holding as a yes he basically said he did it just to advance the vote. Good chance Flake folds, looks grim to me.

She needs to be removed from that, and all, committees. Put someone on there that will work WITH the President and the Republican party, rather than against.

She’s only an “R” because of her Dad.

I suspect she’ll jump to the D’s after the midterms if she’s no longer relevant.

That was Harry Reid.

If the old rule had been in place, the nomination would be dead.

Cloture sets up a final vote Saturday.

Not at all. They can vote differently in final vote.

No guarantees now unless McConnell puts the screws to Murkowski,

If anyone can pull out a win it'll be McConnell. And worst case we renominate Kavanaugh and use the issue to create a BIG RED WAVE...

That is, word for word, what my sister said not 30 seconds ago.

Mitch gave her ALL her committee assignments left after she lost in the primary, but won as a write in.

Don’t ever forget that.

Yes, but we don’t need a vindictive Murkowski switching parties on Nov 8, and having a fight as to who will lead the Senate, as neither party will have a majority.

At that point, you might see a bitter Flake also switch parties, to give the Senate to Schumer and the Democrats in the lame duck session.

We don’t want that.

McConnell needs to keep his powder dry until January, imo.

Was it a conditional “yes” with a requirement to conduct a year-long “investigation?”

They keep voting her back into Congress, so why shouldn’t the also be responsible for what she does. She, after all, represents them.

For the record, Murk has never won a majority of the vote. The best she ever did was 48.6%. In her last two elections, the runner-up was social conservative Joe Miller. She is, effectively, a Democrat.

If the Republicans pick up seats in the midterms, the Republicans need to freeze this bitch out.

It's the only way.

Dems need to be made to pay by depriving them of seats (it's too bad the ones most likely to vote with us are some of the most vulnerable... but that's how it goes).

RINOs need to be made to pay by freezing them out of anything meaningful if they remain in the senate (Murkowski) or made to be pariahs if they have left (possibly Flake).

Sen Collins can vote ‘no’ because she’s sure she’ll still get funding from the Rino Establishment.

Don't be too sure on that. Brett Kavanaugh is a made member of the RINO establishment. If the Dems get away with this they'll all be subject to this treatment. I'm sure they don't relish that thought.

After the midterms, she will jump officially to the Democrats.

She’s only a Republican because she can leverage herself, if she’s no longer in that position, there’s no reason for her to stay a Republican.

Watch her be the next Jim Jeffords if after the midterms the Senate ends up in a 50-50 tie.

The way to get even with Murkowski is to FREEZE OUT ALL OF HER PORK.

Alaskans are hypocritical red-staters because despite claiming to be Conservative they LOVE having the Federal Government pay for things with money confiscated from the Lower 48.

She wins because she’s effective in bringing home the pork. Send her home empty-handed and Alaska voters are likely to change their minds.

No necessarily, though typically true. Wrong litmus test and one that hurts Republicans overall. This type of litmus test plays directly into the hands of Democrats and makes this key issue to beat up Republicans with each election. Wish folks would not take the bait, focus on topics that redefine the electorate more helpful to Republicans—2nd amendment, immigration, law & order, etc.
