My question is, it seemed like the time table for the FBI report, closure, and then the vote on the weekend was well known. Why is his daughter’s wedding just now coming up? This doesn’t make any sense to me. Meh.

The date of a wedding can be changed. This date of your duty to America will not be changed.

Weddings are planned months in advance.
Could he cast an absentee vote of some kind? Could he charter a private plane to take him back and forth?

I’m sure they could put him in a Navy or Air Force fighter jet and get him there pretty quick after the vote.

Fox News reported this earlier tonight. Push the vote back to Sunday (and watch the Democrats scream about “delay!”)
To: jyo19
Since Mitch filed for cloture on Wednesday they can vote Friday night.
