How 'bout this? Real news from a news source. Not "just heard on Hannity," not some twitter feed.
WASHINGTON, DC Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) on Wednesday began the final round of the confirmation battle over the nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh for the U.S. Supreme Court, filing for cloture to ensure a final vote on President Trumps nominee by the end of this week. Shortly before 10:00 p.m. in a night session on Wednesday, McConnell filed a motion for cloture, to limit debate on the Kavanaugh nomination and force a final vote as to whether Judge Kavanaugh will become Justice Kavanaugh.
...
Under Senate rules, the motion must now ripen for a day. The full Senate will vote early on Friday on the motion. Although cloture requires 60 votes for legislation, only 51 votes are required for presidential nominees to judicial or executive office.
If cloture is invoked Friday morning, the final vote on confirmation will come late on Saturday afternoon.

Flake is a no, making it necessary to get both Murkowsky and Collins.
No Democrat will vote yes unless the R’s get to 50.
Hey! That leaves the dems two whole days to find something to delay the proceedings.
If they manage to turn another RINO, it will cost them. Many of the ‘no’ vote dems in red states will lose in November, giving the pubs a larger majority. Kav can be re-nominated and will get the job when the new congress seats..
Got a linkable source? Otherwise I'm not interested. Too much garbage floating around, much of it unsourced.
congrats to Kav, he’ll make a great justice...he’ll also be strong pro-MAGA on immigration cases...after what the liberals and corrupt media put him and family through, safe to say he will not be a swing vote.
however, I do believe the corrupt establishment uniparty, which wants to give the Dems control of congress wants to get this issue out of the spotlight soon and back on Trump, it is galvanizing and uniting Republican votes.
Are we hearing the crackle of SPINES forming???? Prayers are in order!
Theres a lot of stuff ripening about this process in DC.
What are RBGs vital signs tonite?
Have you been watching him?
$10.00 to FR if he votes yes on Kavanaugh.
He might vote yes on cloture, but he is a no on Kavanaugh.
I love your optimism, but “congrats to Kav” kinda premature. It ain’t over ‘til it’s over, ane the Dems and the “Flakes” on our side play dirty.
“Theres a lot of stuff ripening about this process in DC.”
Yes, it’s a similar “process” to what’s “ripening” out on my front lawn!
I agree. Kav will be great on the SCOTUS. It will be nice when all this he said/she said stuff dies down and everybody can get back to work.
Did Flake say hes voting no?
Or is he (as usual) being a mysterious media attention wh*re, still pretending to think things over?
Is this your opinion? Fine, just state it as such. Need verifiable facts. I hope FR becomes $10 richer thanks to you.
You sound a little cranky.
I presumed when he said “Flake is a no,” he was just expressing his opinion. That happens around here once in a while...
He hasn’t said it, but everything points to it.
Yeah, guess I do. I'm sick and tired of chasing supposed facts.
IMHO, stating my opinion, Kav will win the cloture vote and also the full up/down vote. By this time next week he'll be on the court.
All my opinions and we all know what they're worth :)
Well I agree hes a back-stabbing treacherous POS who is insanely, bitterly vindictive towards Trumpbut what else is new?
Is there anything new hes said in the last 24 hours which convincingly signals a no vote?
Theres no time and no place for remarks like that, the outgoing Arizona senator said. To discuss something this sensitive at a political rally is just not right. Its just not right. I wish he hadnt of done it. Its kind of appalling.
Agreed. There's a bunch of overripe stuff too. Smells bad :)
