In addition, it contains more than 1,800 on-base houses for Navy enlisted and officer dependents as well as Coast Guard dependents, and has a child care facility, elementary and middle schools. A large medical clinic near NNPTC in Goose Creek was added in 2008.

This is a very unique collection. You should go on eBay and see if they have them and how much collectors feel that they’re worth. Just for comparison sake...NOT to sell them!

I wouldn’t know what to type in at eBay to find them, if any are even on the site.

They are a neat little collection, for sure.

Good. At least you can still do that and not get even farther behind. That would REALLY be a pain!

Right. Neither do I. I guess you would need an “official” name to do that. LOL!

Pretty close to that. LOL! As a matter of fact, I made it easy by repacking the things I took to WY so I wouldn’t have to think or overthink the clothes thing.

The only thing I can’t pack early, of course, is the laptop, etc. Wish you could be there! You’d love it! It’s a beautiful part of Texas.

A very pleasant good Tuesday morning and ((HUGS)) to everyone at the Canteen and to all our military at home and abroad. Thanks for your service to our country and thanks Lauren for this morning's thread.

How's everyone this morning?

That’s what I’m thinking and I have no idea what their “official” name is.

Remember the days when manufacturers would put things in their products to get people to buy them? Things like towels, glasses, dishes in laundry detergent and such? These appear to be along the same line. They’d put the little pix in cigarette packs and people would try to get the whole set. This is nowhere close to the whole set but from what I’m seeing, each one tells a little bit of the story of WWI from the Germans’ perspective. A pretty neat little gimmick.

The more I get into it, those little pictures get cooler and cooler. I’d love to see the whole set .... but wouldn’t want to translate that many! The lowest number in this set is #5 and the highest is #247 and there are a lot of gaps. No telling just how many were printed up.

I don’t type fast. I’m one of those who has to look at the keys as I type so it’s look up, look down, look up, look down. LOL

Is the temp getting any time to help you with the piles when she’s there?

Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))

We’re still putting up with summer weather here. Hope it’s a little cooler up your way to make time at the lake more comfortable. Though cooler weather does tend to wind up Gizmo a bit more, doesn’t it? :-)

Yep...a neat little gimmick for propaganda, because back in the day almost everyone smoked!

Could THIS be them? Or ones similar?

She is a gem....if I don’t have time during the week, I will bring home all the paperwork I can gather, separate it, and have something for her anytime she asks. She did today, and I had a stack from 2 weekends ago. They all need to be checked to make sure they are on the “S” drive (all our saved stuff for future reference) and in the employees file. Add to either/or, or both. Done! Most I’ve already saved to the S drive, but not to the employee file. THIS IS A HUGE HELP!!!
