In addition, it contains more than 1,800 on-base houses for Navy enlisted and officer dependents as well as Coast Guard dependents, and has a child care facility, elementary and middle schools. A large medical clinic near NNPTC in Goose Creek was added in 2008.

Howdy, Kathy.

Hope the day hasn’t been too crazy with the boss still there. She hasn’t thrown any new monkey wrenches into the gears this trip, has she?

Howdy, PRO.

How are things up your way?

Pretty quiet here today. Just had to make a quick run to the store for a few things.

Good evening, radu....any dry out time?

We had pea soup fog this morning. I just barely got to work before it completely settled at the office. I work on the 4th floor and we could not see the ground.

She is still here and came thru at 5pm and told everyone to go home. So many things left to do...just add them to Tuesday. *sigh*

A productive day nevertheless.

Hey there, Kathy.

We dried out over the weekend but it was damp today. Just light sprinkles here but it was enough to make it steamy outside.
That was some hefty fog y’all had this morning. We haven’t had any really thick ones here this year for some reason.

She certainly doesn’t help matters when she’s there. At least this is the “off week” but you still have more than enough to do. Glad the day was productive even though it was cut short.

Hiya radu!

I did nothing today, and went nowhere, cool morning and warm afternoon here, more cooler weather on the way.

A blah 1st day of October.

Sounds like a pretty good day to me! Nice and lazy. LOL

They initially predicted a fairly comfortable week for us but now they say summer’s back. :-( Not too bad today but we’ll be getting too close to 90 in a day or so.
Damp and very muggy today. UGH

You’ll get the ping! Just had to go check my rifle for spiders down the barrel. Hubby said no worries....the first shell would deal with them. LOL! Ok. :)

LOL! I reckon there’s no spider on earth that would survive the first shot.

It sounds like we’re all on the same wavelength. :-)

This little project I took on for the museum is interesting as I translate what’s on the back of those little pictures.
They were definitely inserted in cigarette packs, which explains why they’re so small. Some of the pictures have the brand name printed on the back as well as the story behind the picture.

No telling how this little collection ended up over here and eventually in Mr. Creely’s possession.
