As an undergraduate student at Yale, Brett M. Kavanaugh was involved in an altercation at a local bar during which he was accused of throwing ice on another patron, according to a police report.
The incident, which occurred in September 1985 during Mr. Kavanaughs junior year, resulted in Mr. Kavanaugh and four other men being questioned by the New Haven Police Department. Mr. Kavanaugh was not arrested, but the police report stated that a 21-year-old man accused Mr. Kavanaugh of throwing ice on him for some unknown reason.

He said that the altercation happened after a UB40 concert, when he and a group of people went to Demerys and were drinking pints. At one point, they were sitting near a man who, they thought, resembled Ali Campbell, the lead singer of UB40.
Were trying to figure out if its him, he said.
When the man noticed Mr. Ludington, Mr. Kavanaugh and the others looking at him, he objected and told them to stop it, adding an expletive, Mr. Ludington said.
Mr. Kavanaugh cursed, he said, and then threw his beer at the guy.
The guy swung at Brett, Mr. Ludington continued. At that point, Mr. Dudley took his beer and smashed it into the head of the guy, who by now had Brett in an embrace. I then tried to pull Chris back, and a bunch of other guys tried to pull the other guy back. I dont know what Brett was doing in the melee, but there was blood, there was glass, there was beer and there was some shouting, and the police showed up.

He MAY have thrown ice on someone.
What a joke.
Hes an angry drunk who likes to throw ice!
Wouldnt the FBI already have investigated this during his last 6, now 7 background checks!?
I was thinking the same thing!!! Hahaha
Mr. Ludington previously has said Judge Kavanaugh was a mean drunk and was in article yesterday saying he was waiting to talk to the FBI today. I would say this guy is not a friend of Kavanaugh’s and oddly he is another professor. If I was a betting person I would say this man Ludington is a good friend of Rameriz.
I see the fbi is still leaking like a sieve.
The great “Gray Lady” NYT has become the addled old gossip on a bar stool.

Stop looking at me!
I always put ice in my beer, It’s a UB40 thang.
This is just Ludingan telling a fantasy story, until there is actual PROOF!
Kavanaugh’s nickname is Brawler Brett
F*** the Supreme Court!
Kavanaugh for Emperor!
Hmm...questioned by the police, was he? You know who else was questioned by the police? Adolf Hitler, that’s who!
Did they at least find out that Neil Diamond wrote "Red Red Wine"?
The word “Liberal” certainly is being re-defined.
I say if this is whats gonna disqualify anypne from sitting on scotus, dems will never get one of theirs on the bench ever sgain.
Further I say we review all sitting obama appointees on every single court, and have the fbi dig up this level of dirt on all of them, then have them removed from their courts for misconduct and bad behavior.
AND NO I AM NOT KIDDING AT ALL.
Justice Kavanaugh was probably trying to stop the fight. Ice/water serves the same purpose. I like him more all the time. Doesn’t this whole thing seem very anti-Catholic and anti-Irish?
The Dems are getting upset?
I thought bad behavior was a resume enhancer for them?
Throwing ice on someone at a bar 33 years ago is now cause for disqualification to the bench? Really?
“Mr. Kavanaugh cursed, he said, and then threw his beer at the guy.
Kavanaugh should throw a beer at Feinstein.
Have the democrats demanded another week of FBI investigations into “IceGate”? Will they call for a ballistics expert to calculate the trajectory of the cup of ice to show in conclusively came from Kavanaugh?
