Julie Swetnick, the woman who accused Brett Kavanaugh of drugging women and participating in gang rapes in the 1980s, spoke out at length about her allegations in an interview that aired on MSNBC Monday.
NBC News started off by noting it could not independently verify her claims. Swetnick spoke to NBC News correspondent Kate Snow about her allegations, made in a statement released last week, that Kavanaugh and his friend Mark Judge attended a party where she was drugged and gang raped. While she did not accuse Kavanaugh of assaulting her, she claimed she witnessed him participate in gang rapes. Kavanaugh has vehemently denied the allegations and denied even knowing Swetnick.

You know that Avenatti had to question her at length, and probably knows all of this. Yet he went and represented her and almost certainly told these lies knowingly. That scumbag SOB needs to be disbarred sued for defamation of character and put in jail for lying to the United States Senate.
That, by the way, is how you stop this character assassination crap from occurring in the future. You take a bunch of liars and make them pay very heavy penalties. The next time around, people aren’t so willing to put their next on the line.
Avenatti would have gotten lead poisoning long ago...
I saw him with boys congregating outside of rooms. Such a site could only mean that rape(s) were going on inside, and that is 100% of her proof that rape(s) were going on inside - her innuendo from her own thoughts; no facts.
And NBC dared to air such an interview.
Oh that’s right, the Senate is yet to vote, so the unsubstantiated allegations MUST continue!!! /sarc
Yeah, now that your behind can go to jail for lying to the FBI, all of a sudden, the backtracking begins.
I went to lots of “punch” parties in the early 80s and I couldn’t name ONE person that was “around” the punch. This is absurd. She’s making it up.
We always had one. It was full of Sangria! Lol
Too late, Julie.
Why is NBC suddenly taking a leading role in this farce?
My 4th great grandfather was killed in a duel ....
Sock-it-to-me punch?
Who wouldn’t use lab supplied, reagent ethanol to kick things off from the ?
Pre-hearing: Swetnick signed a statement wherein she claimed to have security clearances up to the highest levels; attended multiple gang-rape parties; was herself gang-raped and that she reported it; saw Kavanaugh spike the punch; saw Kavanaugh in line to participate in the rapes.
Post-hearing: Swetnick’s employment history shows no signs of security clearances (New York Life? Yeah); she doesn’t know if anyone was raped; she never actually saw Kavanaugh spiking punch*; never saw Kavanaugh doing anything but standing around (which is sort of what everyone does at parties); no police report available to corroborate her own claim of rape. Seems to be a litigious grifter.
So has she retracted everything but having seen Kavanaugh at a party once? I bet she didn’t.
*As others have mentioned, teen drinking parties don’t normally have punch bowls, like a society cotillion. But if they do, it’s to mix grain alcohol and fruit juice. What would you spike Grape N Grain with — plutonium?
LOL sock it to me punch LOL..why would NBC bother interviewing an OBVIOUS liar that even Megyn Kelly yes Megyn Kelly says is a liar..Ok we all know why but its still laughable..why hasn’t anyone asked why a GROWN WOMAN would attend parties with TEENAGERS..she sounds like the pervert to me
Local police departments should have known to already be searching down reports knowing theyd likely be asked.Yea because they really don't have more important things to do. < /sarcasm >
Gots some wang to it !
I can see it coming to NBC: 'SEANCE'.
Crack NBC journalists will gather with a world-renowned spiritualist, and attempt to contact the deceased friend of Ms. Swetnick, in order to get her side of the story. (Parental discretion is advised)
Yep. Ramirez shouldn’t let the false assurances make her feel relaxed. They are out to get her and rightly so.
