FILE - In this Dec. 6, 2013, file photo, media mogul Ted Turner talks with guests at the Captain Planet Foundation benefit gala in Atlanta. CNN founder Turner still occasionally watches the network he started nearly four decades ago, although he thinks it's a little heavy on politics. Turner said in an interview with "CBS Sunday Morning" that airs this weekend that he'd prefer his old network had a more balanced agenda, "but that's just one man's opinion." Though we get angry, and indeed I do, let’s please lift his soul up in prayer. Father, allow us to look past his actions and reflect upon our own sins during the days we walk upon this earth. Our anger at his earthly pride and failings ought not to stop us from wanting to save him from the placement of Hell. We should want him to accept the Blood of Jesus to cover his sins so that he is saved and may speak out to others who are lost. Allow please, Father in Heaven, for the man to come to realize that without Jesus Christ as his Redeemer he will forever be in darkness. We all have failed to earn the Grace of the Blood of Jesus. May we remember this and ask for the Grace of the Blood of Jesus to be upon this man so he may come to know Jesus before his death. Amen.
Its a mild case of what people have as Alzheimers. Its similar to that. But not nearly as bad. Alzheimers is fatal,
Don’t count on it Ted. LBD affects everyone differently. Took my father in about one year at age 86.
Lewy body dementia is fatal. My father in law died of it in June of 2017.
Prayers for him.
Pffft. I thought he was brain damaged when he married that commie, Charlie pass-around.
His brain disease was communism. Eff him.
A. I think Turner was big on the “Colorization” of old black and white movie classics. I recall it was very controversial at the time. The technique has likely improved since the 1980’s. It was strange watching old Cowboy Movies now colorized, and all the Cowboys wearing snow white shirts, the
skies all the same bright, harsh ultramarine blue. All the womenfolk wore the same candy apple red lipstick.
B. I think DJ Casey Kasem also had Lewy Body disease.
Robin William got it early.
He was battling a disease of the brain long before this.
Leftistism has ravaged him for a number of decades.
Hanoi Jane and he were bussom buddies, married...
Well to do people aren’t necessarily smart.
I have a close family member who has dementia.
About a decade ago I tried to take some video of them telling some of their life experiences for posterity.
They couldn’t remember a single thing from their life.
I wouldn’t wish this on Ted, but he may be heading for that eventuality.
Christianity is a "religion for losers"
Ted Turner
Christ should not have bothered dying on the cross. "I don't want anybody to die for me. I've had a few drinks and a few girlfriends, and if that is going to put me in hell, then so be it."
Ted Turner
The ten commandments are "out of date" and should be replaced with the Ten Voluntary Iniatives.

I thought he Divorced the Brain Disease aka Fonda
The disease may not kill you per se, but the complications certainly do. Casey Kasem was diagnosed in 2013, originally with Parkinson’s disease, but that was later changed to Lewy’s. He was dead a year later. His passing touched off a war between Kasem’s children (from his first marriage) and his second wife, Jean, best known for her appearances on “Cheers.”
While Casey reportedly wanted to be buried in Glendale, CA, his wife eventually had him interred in Oslo, Norway, where his body remains to this day. Kasem reportedly left an estate valued at $80 million, divided 50/50 between the three children from his first marriage and his second wife. As of earlier this year, both sides were still haggling over his fortune, with Jean attempting to gain greater control over his older children’s share of the estate.
Wonder how much the lawyers have already pulled out of the estate for legal fees? Probate nightmare, but a windfall for the attorneys.
Mr. Turner better hope his estate planning is better than what Casey Kasem left behind, and by all accounts, he did what his attorneys and estate planners advised him to do. Unfortunately, hell hath no fury like a has-been actress who wants the whole pie for herself.
BTW, Kasem’s cause of death was sepsis from a badly infected bedsore. I’ve had family members in nursing homes and bedsores are a huge problem; coupled that with failing body systems and its easy for them to become infected, especially if the patient isn’t turned frequently and carefully monitored. Doesn’t sound like Mr. Kasem was receiving the best of care at the end of his life.
Many demonrats have brain disease.
Can’t gather up much sympathy.
From marriedfondalitis?
This is the disease that would have eventually killed Robin Williams if he hadn't committed suicide first.
