GOP Senator: Feinstein Will Be Investigated for ‘Leaking’ Kavanaugh Accuser’s Letter
Daily Beast ^ | 9-30-18

Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s office will be investigated to determine if it leaked a confidential letter from Brett Kavanaugh accuser Christine Blasey Ford, Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) said Sunday.

Cotton—who announced the investigation shortly after President Trump suggested Feinstein may have released the letter at a rally—said lawyers who worked with Ford will also face an investigation by the Washington, D.C. Bar for allegedly misinforming her that Senate Judiciary Committee staffers would not travel to California to speak with her about her alleged assault.

Good! Maybe nothing will come of it, as some of the pessimists on FR say. I sometimes wonder if they WANT the laws enforced, or if they prefer to see the progressives get away with everything so they can bitch about it. However, they will get off unless we at least try to hold them accountable. So let’s investigate their sorry backsides and see what happens.

No, the gop always protects the party before the country, ever since Lincoln destroyed the South in a “more perfect” bipartisan Union.

They could attack Feinstein for throwing Ford under the bus, but they are tackling it from a loser angle. Democrats at least pretend better they protect people , the GOp will never do so

“I am very surprised that NO ONE noticed how QUICKLY Feinswine ran Ford under the bus at the hearing when questioned about the leak.”

That’s been brought up quite a bit over the last few days.

Conservative media is all over it.

Thank goodness.

Feinstein has a history of leaking. When Mayor of SF in the 1980s Feinstein leaked, on a local TV station, that the SFPD had a solid footprint of the shoes the Nightstakler was wearing on the night one of his victims was murdered. The SFPD was furious as this was protected information.

It was later determined that the Nightstalker, Richard Ramirez, was listening to the broadcast and, that night, tossed the shoes into SF Bay.

Complete BS. Ford flat out lied about this and if that woman questioning here had perused it, it would have been uncovered.

She lied under oath. She committed perjury without blinking. Basically claimed she was an idiot living under a rock with no connection to the outside world. Charging her lawyers might force their hand, but I doubt anything comes of it.

Also, the lawyer was severely undermined by having to break up her questioning into 5 minute blocks. Had she been given a 30 minute block, I believe she would have broken Ford.

DiFi can prove her innocence by turning in the leaker, unless she is the leaker. She certainly knows who the leaker is.

DiFi could be in deep kimchi if the leaker was following DiFi’s instruction to leak. Just sayin’.

Let her prove that she didn’t leak it. Only then will she be exonerated.
