Sophocles is reported to have said that the male libido was like being chained to a lunatic.
I can honestly say that being a woman in twenty-first century America I have him beat cold. I have somehow been chained to over a hundred and fifty million lunatics.
Okay, not every woman is a lunatic. I even have women friends. But making friends with women is like making friends in the science fiction field. I start by assuming they will be a strange form of Marxist victim-group and look for signs they might, just might, be safe.
Then theres a whole dance as you reveal yourself to the other as not-a-standard-woman.
At first, I thought American women had a chip on their shoulder, but I didnt realize it was nearly this bad.
First, so you can understand where Im coming from because I have been told the reason Im not hot for feminism is that women won the fight for me the country I grew up gave women the vote in the seventies. Further, when I was a child, getting a private passport for a married woman was difficult, and my mom had a family passport which meant dad had to affidavit her every time she wanted to go to Spain to shop. Married women needed to have permission from their husbands to get a job. (Which meant many women worked under the table.) When I was in fifth and sixth grade, both of which were in mixed classes, it was assumed as a matter of course that girls couldnt outperform boys, and when I did routinely the teachers acted like a wondrous thing had happened.

Women scare me, always have. And I am one.
Im well familiar with the conversational dance to discover that one of them might be different, like me.
I believe Sarah Hoyt grew up in Portugal.
Aha, didnt know that. Switzerland also on;y allowed women to vote that late.
I have a few, all ranch women but even the younger ranch women are not all there any more. Rarely do I meet other women that have any sense at all, and yes they do have a chip on their shoulder. I can’t stand them telling me I have been so badly treated and how women of my mother’s generation had it so terrible. I am sure some did, but my mother was a very traditional woman and she was a very happy woman so they are not right about how miserable women were before feminism. I have yet to meet a feminist that is happy.
*****And dont forget the flat head for a place to rest your beer can! ;)*****
Heck, just open the neck like a pez dispenser of ice cold bear too.
er BEER lol
As sensible Muslims should speak out more against radical nuts of Islam, so should more sensible women speak out more against nuts of radical feminism.
Im so thankful for those that do.
There are not many sensible Muslims (my view) but, I know damn well there are a damn sight many, many more sensible silent majority women.
Oh well was does a white male 55 years and married 25 know anyway.
Thats a very good article
Did she grow up in Malta or Gibraltar I wonder
Portugal
I looked it up
Had to do a little research due to a “feminism” trigger. How to destroy the family? Just ask the deep state.
“Gloria Steinem: How the CIA Used Feminism to Destabilize Society”

If you are interested at the bottom are links to other articles. The deep state is controlled by international bankers, right?
Your doing it wrong Diana; my wife and I have had an unbreakable contract for the last 42 years, “WHATS HERS IS HERS and WHATS MINE IS HERS”.
It has worked great for our entire lives.
If I want something or need something I just tell her, and then wait for it to show up.
It’s like Christmas all year long.
thank you for the link. I remember reading some stories on Gloria Steinem’s background and beginnings. Her ‘work’ and ‘collusion’ with DS to undermine our Country. I believe quite a few of these demonrats know full well what they are doing. Not just ‘useful idiots’, but full blown all into the evil plan.
“I cant stand them telling me I have been so badly treated and how women of my mothers generation had it so terrible.”
My grandmother (yes, grandmother) was born in 1876. In the Deep South, in Mississippi, in a city still recovering from the destruction that Sherman had inflicted upon it when he burned it to the ground. The family finances were severely reduced by the war, as most were in the South. One of her uncles had been killed at Gettysburg.
Apparently no one told her that she was oppressed and couldn’t amount to anything. She married late, at around 40, but by that time she owned free and clear her own two story boarding house, which she had helped design, as well as a prosperous millinery shop. My dad’s parents were doing well until the Great Depression hit, and a good deal of that was due to my grandmother’s initiative. A Scarlett O’Hara without the childish petulance.
Mysterious, beguiling, and yet they compel.
Ever notice that the crazies (rat women included) are not at all hot (most look like men in wigs) are fighting like rats in a sinking ship against all men, who to this day will not give them a second look and are absolutely viciously angry because of this and seek revenge.
Sounds like our relationship, too. Lucky us!
Absolutely correct about males being property owners, because then they have a vested interest in the outcomes of elections. Deadbeats and freeloaders would have no say. Also repeal the 17th amendment so the state legislatures elect senators. That would automatically return more power to the states.
