Red-state Dem Joe Donnelly, up in November. I have deep reservations about Judge Kavanaughs nomination to this lifetime position and, as I stated, we have been unable to get all the information necessary regarding this nomination, despite my best efforts.

You shot it down in the ground, yeah

No one had the right to say what she said . . . about him

Barring impeachment and conviction, these are lifetime appointments. Since there has been ONE federal judge removed in a century the first phrase can be ignored. They are lifetime appointments.

Why is this guy in the Senate?Mainly because the Indiana GOP was stupid enough to nominate a dimwit named Murdouck who answered a "rape bait" question wrong.

He's behind in the polls in Punjab.

At this point, a Democrat in a close race would be savaged by the dem base if he broke ranks. A Democrat who is a couple of years away from a reelection might benefit, but it would be suicidal at this point if he’s up this November.

It might be safe to say that Donnelly is opposing Kavanaugh simply because he’s auditioning for his next job.

He may have written off his Senate re-election race, in hopes of remaining viable in the new reality of Democratic party. Plus, a new gig at MSNBC.

"Come on Indiana... Seriously? Why is this guy in the Senate?"
Because we voted out RINO Lugar and did not have a worthy candidate to replace him.
To: C19fan
I guess he has decided that he wont get reelected, so in the hopes of a Good. Dem. Lobbying job afterwards, he will throw in with them.
