Just sent him an email. I have been hounding him for the last couple of months.
BREAKING: We Have The Votes

I knew about Scarborough - but that gives me more to research ...
There were a few others; however, the threenames I've given you and Condit were the BIG "players"!
Its comforting to know, if Kavanaugh gets confirmed, we wont have to worry about the SC handing down some crazy ruling for the next 10 years or so ...
What a strange world we are in now, in which Graham has become my hero.
I doubt it. The more power they lose, the worse they act. It has been since Bush defeated gore in 2000.
Yep
Kasich (”the mouth”) is an idiot.
Odd, but since McCain has passed I am really liking what Lindsey Graham has been saying.
It is impossible to overestimate what Senator Graham accomplished today. That was a throwback to old time speechifying. It will grow in its stature as time passes. Without getting down in the mud and wallowing in the sick and demented, sleazeball, cesspit, icky mentality that we have become accustomed to hearing from the slime on the other side, Senator Graham laid it all on the line and laid waste to their mealy-mouthed power trip. He seized the day!
I had to take my Maine Coon to the vet today to see why she's been coughing. My cat had led me a merry chase until I was able to grab her and stuff her into her travel case, so we were a few minutes late in arriving at the vet's office. On the way there, I was listening to the hearing on the car radio. When Graham came out with his "just what the doctor ordered" blast of those dimwits, my cheering was so loud, it scared my poor cat.
When I got there, I almost got into it with the vet's receptionist, who I'd bet the bank is a devout Oprah follower. I'm quite sure she also voted for Odungo. She accused me of being late because I had been listening to the hearing! She was going on and on about "that poor woman" and how she believed her tale. I said, "How can you believe her? She is unable to tell you a definite date, time, place, who else was there, etc. She has changed her story several times. She claimed she was afraid to fly, but then we find out she's recently flown to several vacation spots. She has zero credibility." The woman really got agitated and kept saying that she believed her, that she was believable, etc. I really didn't want to get into it with her, as it wasn't worth it. She was obviously one of those low information voters Rush told us about. I was very relieved to be called into the exam room by the vet, believe me. It's a waste of time and effort arguing with a low information voter like that. Meanwhile, the vet assistant was cradling Bijou in her arms and giving her kisses, telling me how beautiful she was and how sweet natured she is (I know, I know!), etc. I preened under the praise. The vet added to it, saying she was one of his sweetest patients. He gave Bijou a couple of antibiotic shots and hopefully that will be that.
Still can't believe his receptionist was trying to force her opinion on me of how credible Dr. Fraud was....
“Lindsey Graham embarrassed the sh!t out of any Republican who was wobbling in his/her support for Kavanaugh.”
I’m sorry to steal your line and repost it, but I never in a bajillion Sundays imagined Lindsay Graham would be the mover and shaker to help Trump remake SCOTUS. It’s true, Graham not only shamed on-the-fence Pubbies, but he excoriated Dems who used to be his “friends.” Quite a display by the senior senator from SC
Once I admired Kasich as an honorable politicians. He did do some good things to help balance the budget when he was in Congress. But Old John’s hatred of Trump turned him into a real persimmon-sucker. Apparently Kasich wants to inherit McCain’s disgraceful mantle
I too believe if all goes well the Lord moved mountains to do it...if I see this man confirmed I will feel like when Trump got in and everything said it would never happen and then bam! it did...I think prayer was the factor here because anyone else in the same circumstances would have been asked to step down or walked away. and of course we know most of our senators suck...
Yes!! For all the lack of fire she displayed during the hearing she would earn respect from Collins and Murkowski in a Republican briefing as a even handed professional who has been doing this for decades. And keep the goal in mind: getting the votes is what counts, even though it might not be in the manner we would choose.
I just watched Lindsay Graham's five minute speech and he, along with an eminently qualified judicial candidate, will carry the day. He said many of the things we would also like to have said if we had that position, so well done senator. You won't hear me bad mouthing Lindsay Graham ever again.
Peal clutching. That does ring a bell.
It seems the dead weight of McCain has dropped off Graham’s back.
Mr. Graham isn’t dragging McCain around any more.
