A Rhode Island man who accused Brett Kavanaugh of raping a “close associate of his” on a boat in 1985 recanted just hours after the claims were made public Wednesday.
The accuser, Jeff Catalan, called the office of Representative Sheldon White House of Rhode Island “making allegations concerning a rape on a boat in August of 1985,” according to transcripts of a call between committee staff and Kavanaugh released on Wednesday.

Sounds like a perverse children’s book in the making. “Kavanaugh raped me at a party/Or maybe it was his friend Marty/Kavanaugh raped me on a boat/Marty raped me in a moat/Kavanaugh pushed me into a wall/I really don’t remember much at all” or some such. Where’s Dr. Seuss when we need him?
They are trying to Cloward-Piven the entire judicial confirmation process, as well as the basic tenets of American jusisprudence (i.e. presumption of innocence).

It is, but with consequences that women are apparently just starting to understand. Private employers can save themselves a lot of trouble in this regard by hiring as few women as possible.
I belong to a business networking group in my area, and at our last meeting we had a remarkable presentation from someone who works in a growing industry of temporary staffing companies that are now providing large numbers of highly specialized workers to large companies. One Fortune 500 company headquartered in my area now staffs more than 50% of their highly-paid positions in medicine, R&D and biotechnology through outside staffing vendors.
The woman giving the presentation explained it very simply:
"Between the Affordable Care Act, the #MeToo movement, and all the other HR headaches they've been dealing with, these companies just don't want to deal with employees anymore."
Arrest him!
Call all committee members and tell them enough is enough, hold the vote and confirm Justice Kavanaugh “Immediately.”

That story unraveled quickly.
That's the problem these people face when they fabricate a story and provide as much detail as possible to make the story more credible. The detail they provide also makes it easier to debunk the story.
