President Donald Trump could decide to shut down parts of the government in the coming days as he pushes for money to build his proposed border wall.

“..This is what he promised us the last time he signed a crap spending bill, and I want him to stick to his promise....”
Yes, he bit the bitter pill last time to get adequate military spending, among other things but then said he WOULD NOT SIGN another crappy spending bill. We shall see.
“Miles of wall built: 0.” - Anne Coulter
Hadn’t heard that one until yesterday.
You lie just like a democrat. It was a promise made to America.
That can only help. Do it Mr. President.
“I doubt this is going to happen, he is not going to do it before the midterms.”
It won’t happen. Maybe it will next round.
On topic of typos. I have a self-recognized history where I have a disconnect and often leave out "not" in sentences. Not a Freudian slip, more like a form of dyslexia. I can even re-read and still miss them.
Aaaaargh.
Fedzilla does NOT shut down.
Would that it were so.
Good plan. DO IT!
and about 20 holidays per year
Zero chance he does anything before Kavanaugh confirmed. Win one battle before he starts another when winning depends on fickle Congress critters.
Once a bill gets to the president’s desk, is there a time limit for him to sign or veto it? If not, he could hold off until after Kavanaugh is confirmed and then veto. He could also do a line by line veto.
Fuses will already be blowing in Leftist heads over Kavanaugh, Rosenstein and that UN speech. Why not pile-on?
Oh okay, I get it. I remember him saying that also last year. He needs to stick to it! With midterms coming up and Congress looking extremely spineless, he’s the only one that can show that Republicans need to be elected.
Depends on what Ann is referring to.

It's not that I don't think that Trump has the most leverage before the election. I think that he does.
But apparently Trump and CNBC disagree with my assessment.
