Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh on Monday defended himself against the sexual assault allegations roiling his nomination by saying he was a virgin through high school and college.
"We’re talking about an allegation of sexual assault," Kavanaugh said in a clip released from his interview on Fox News Channel's "The Story with Martha MacCallum."
"I’ve never sexually assaulted anyone," Kavanaugh said. "I did not have sexual intercourse or anything close to sexual intercourse in high school or for many years thereafter ... The girls from the schools I went to, and I, were friends."
"Through all these years that were in question, you were a virgin?" Fox News host Martha MacCallum asked.
"That’s correct," Kavanaugh replied, adding that he did not have sex until "many years after" college.
Neither of the two accusations regarding Kavanaugh involve sexual intercourse. Christine Blasey Ford is alleging Kavanaugh held her down and groped her over her clothes during a high school party in 1982, and Deborah Ramirez claims he exposed himself without her consent during a gathering at Yale University a few years later.
Fox News released clips from the interview throughout the evening on Monday.
At another point in the interview, Kavanaugh vowed he is "not going anywhere" despite the allegations.
"I’m not going to let false accusations drive us out of this process," he said, sitting beside his wife as she nodded.
Kavanaugh during the interview denied attending the party in Ford's account.
"[I am] not questioning and have not questioned that perhaps Dr. Ford at some point in her life was sexually assaulted by someone at some place but what I know is I’ve never sexually assaulted anyone," he said.
Ford has stated that she is sure Kavanaugh was the man who allegedly assaulted her in an episode that she says has caused her decades of emotional trauma.
The full interview is scheduled to air at 7 p.m. EST.

Kavenaugh has been holding his cards close to the vest. The Dems played their hand with all these false allegations. Turns out that a Kavenaugh had been holding a Royal Flush and all the Dems had was a couple of Jokers.
There is no corroborating evidence and every so called Witness has said these things did not happen.

Same here. In the 70s, all my friends and I talked about was what we saw on tv the night before - sex was never a part of our conversation - although there were always wise guys and fast girls who we didn’t really associate with. I find people here who brag about their high school conquests or sex lives are really sad folks. Old before their time.

Neither can I, but watch Martha, for a bit, and it’s exactly what she started to do, from the time she got the 7:00 P.M. slot and as time passed, she got worse and worse; a 10th rate Kelly act.
