The chief of police in Montgomery County, Md., says his officers are not looking into sexual misconduct allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, appearing to contradict a local news report that "investigators" were looking at a potential second high school misconduct allegation.
"I have spoken with my chief of detectives, and neither of us have any knowledge of anyone coming forward to us to report any allegations involving Judge Kavanaugh," police Chief J. Thomas Manger told the Washington Examiner in an email.
The Montgomery County Sentinel reported Monday that "Montgomery County investigators" were "looking at" a " potential second sexual assault complaint" dating from Kavanaugh's senior year the Georgetown Prep high school "after an anonymous witness came forward this weekend."

If the paper had been reputable, they’d’ve checked out the story with LE first before going to print.
They had car phones, based on CB radio technology, before 1984. You picked up a phone that was connected to a CB radio operator who then patched you through to a land line.

Reminds me of when Ahab wanted a garden that was not his, so Jezebel set the owner up to be killed.
Sounds like like Chuckie Shummer and Dianne F. are doing the same thing. I will not wish for these two to have the ending for Ahab and Jezebel.
now that would kill their Kavanaugh is a rapist narrative.
again for the police to investigate a police report would have to be filed and those hold people legally accountable and can be used in criminal and civil court to cross a witness.
don’t go filling out false police reports.
****They had car phones, based on CB radio technology, before 1984****
She was 15, could not drive and had no car.
If she had a phone she should have called the police.
But I guess it not easy reporting something that didn’t happen.
Soros paid for thug:
Why would they investigate a 36 year old allegation?
Nobody has ever demonstrated an “irreparable, lifelong harm to the psyche of Christine Blasey” beyond the very damaged and dysfunctional high fantasy of an intoxicated underaged female (by her own admission), nearly four decades ago. And it was a different time, which ought not be judged by a moral climate which has changed considerably since that alleged incident.
Illusions, confusions, delusions and contusions. All bound together in one package.
Which is why the paper never should have run with this story.
Looks like it’s a small time outfit. No big enemedia industrial complex to call their shots. The people running that paper did this to themselves. Hope their reputation was worth it.
If I were an advertiser, I’d be yanking mine.
BTW, this may be the rag that gave Bob Woodward his start....
Head Fake News?
big MD Governor Debate today. republican Governor would be smart to steer clear of this today.

In the late 80’s I had a Trunked Radio System, about the first “car phone”. Very expensive, not very good. You got a new phone number for each tower you were near.
Not a chance a 15 year old in 1982 had a car phone of any type. As has been said, she could not drive.
Just watch there will most likely be others. As each one flares up and fizzles the Left will have to re-evaluate their strategy as to whether their accusers “victim” status outweighs their value as a “martyr”.
Christine Blasey-Ford would be well advised to increase her own personal security, she won’t, lest she go the way of Lee Harvey Oswald.
