First I want to hear Jeff Flake come out and publicly call for an investigation of Avenatti’s “recovered porn memory” allegations.
He could save himself from a legacy of wussiness by:
-opening the meeting tomorrow morning.
-saying “This is BS” (but actually spoken)
-And then say “Vote now”
All in the first 30 seconds. BOOM.

Grassley needs to call their bluff and call for a vote tomorrow.
Otherwise, they will continue to obfuscate with new manufactured allegations and stretching out hearings and delays as long as they can get away with doing so.

if i may offer some advice to you Sen Grassley: what you do is simply to say there will be no further official consideration of “she said, he said” allegations in the future of **any** selection process, as they have sadly become entirely political in nature and have now have no useful bearing on the evaluation of any nominee in question.
the accusation has been publicly made and denied.
each senator is free to make of that information what they will and vote their conscience. my job is to call the vote so that’s what we’ll do. period.
