WASHINGTON Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh has calendars from the summer of 1982 that he plans to hand over to the Senate Judiciary Committee that do not show a party consistent with the description of his accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, according to someone working for his confirmation.
The calendars do not disprove Dr. Blaseys allegations, Judge Kavanaughs team acknowledged. He could have attended a party that he did not list. But his team will argue to the senators that the calendars provide no corroboration for her account of a small gathering at a house where he allegedly pinned her to a bed and tried to remove her clothing.
The calendars show, according to the person working for his confirmation, that he was out of town much of the summer at the beach or away with his parents. When he was at home, the calendars list his basketball games, movie outings, football workouts and college interviews. A few parties are mentioned but include names of friends other than those identified by Dr. Blasey.

sure its weird, but I bet his parents had boxes of this sort of stuff and gave them to him. I know my parents gave me a box of stuff I had completely forgotten I had including old diaries.
One wonders if that is not the entire point of the murky date and place. I’ve come to believe this is not a fuzzy memory, it’s an invented one (at least the Kavanaugh part).
So as she crafted how to NOT have this guy on the Supreme Court, they realized they couldn’t allow him to have an alibi.
It’s far too perfect that she cannot recall a time or place.
My apologies then. My comment is for the leftist trolls on Twitter mocking Kavanaugh and thinking his calendars are the wall types with the pictures of beaches on them.
Versus...what does SHE have, and shes the accuser.
That's the point. If she doesn't know the who/when/where, what are you going to compare a calendar to?
I have kept daily appointment books for a very long time-—before I became self-employed in 1980. Was doing bookkeeping for a number of small companies, and needed to keep my schedules straight.
Not really - diaries and planners from your youth are exactly the kinds of things you don’t throw away, ever. I sure haven’t.
I'd guess studious intellectual types, as I'm confident the hell raisers and party goers would not maintain calendars and notes during their high school years. But who really knows! ☺
Sounds like my dad. He was the treasurer/accountant for several orgaizations, he LIKED doing taxes and kept receipts from way back. Good thing, as it has helped with his estate.
He also kept some greeting cards. Sentimental.
It’s the sheer volume of in for that I can’t fathom. I keep old cards, letters, photos and kid memorabilia and that is a lot of stuff. I routinely go through my boxes to get rid of things. We are doing a better job of scanning and storing info online these days.
“”my mother kept calendars for YEARS””
I have my mother’s diaries - the first one in 1928 when she and my dad were married all the way through 1995 when she was an Alzheimer’s patient. No one could ever have put anything over on my Mom. Every single day she also noted the weather; hot, rain, snow, and what the temperature was especially in the winter - 20 below etc. I’m sure she could have nailed any one of her grown children with accuracy about a certain date/year if she’d wanted. Reading them is like a history lesson especially during WWII...
It will change to ‘81 or ‘83...whatever is convienent.
Thanks but no thanks to your “he wouldn’t write down that he went to a party”.
If the calendars are worth their salt they COULD show that he wasn’t even available to have been at a party during the time frame she says she THINKS it was.
Calendars can also show that he was doing activities that were known and approved by his parents and that he led a very busy life that was serious and down to business.
Oversimplify all you want.
It won’t help your “concern troll” post be relevant.
He and his attorney are NOT stupid. They know what they are doing, that’s obvious.
“”The calendars do not disprove Dr. Blaseys allegations, Judge Kavanaughs team acknowledged.””
How stupid and funny - of course, they don’t. Maybe they expected he would write - did not rape or assault any female today!
Wow, everybody on FR knows “calendar” means a planner. All the lefties think “calendar” means Farrah Fawcett or Bay Watch babes on the wall. That speaks volumes right there.

FBI forensic examination of paper and ink, etc.
2016-2018 Ancient Aliens and In Search of Aliens episodes including dating methods for archaeological finds were interesting. One ruler’s weird knife was fashioned from meteorite material. Some things can’t be carbon dated (6 protons and 8 neutrons equal 14 for Radiocarbon 14, by the way). Organic form of the paper fibers and source of the ink may prove decisive.
Hopefully Kavanaugh wrote” Blasey is nuts and ugly—have to get her to stop stalking me” in the margin.
Powerful point.
Keep making it...
Do we know if the Senators on the Committee will be questioning Ford and Judge Kavanaugh or will it be an attorney?
“..yeah dont hand them over unless they have been modified to trap chrissie ”
Trap her? The woman whose charges are so damn nebulous they make women look worse than ever?
I know women lie. And lie to the point of sending innocent men to prison.
And yes, I’m a woman. I had the misfortune to be in practice during the childcare witch hunts of the 90’s. Such lies and so much suffering inflicted on innocent men and women is devastating. Don’t tell me “victims” never lie.
Many women have stepped forward that knew and dated Kavenaugh to vouch for him as a gentleman. I do not know one man that has done the same for Ford as to vouch for her as a lady. Most particularly any man from her high school.
