Will she travel via horse drawn wagon and arrive in a few weeks?

Just another delay tactic by the Democrats!

Where do I sent a big bottle of Vitamin C to her so she won’t come down with the common cold right before testifying?

Thanks for reminding me of that. The idiocy of it all is so depressing, and it’s addicting - particularly when I have “Fox Breaking News” and Twitter messages popping up on my iPhone.
I think I’ll turn off the phone, do some laundry, finish a painting I started and maybe pick out some movies to watch today.
(...and look at FR tomorrow, too) ;-)

Expect her to cry. Or sob. Shake all over and fall apart
She will be well schooled on the appropriate behavior

In contract law, we call that an “agreement to agree,” which is not an agreement at all.
This is still just noise.

Christine Ford, accuser of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, agrees 2 Senate testimony re sex... No she hasnt. We are exactly where we were 8 days ago when her lawyer said she had agreed to testify but wanted to negotiate the time and conditions. Nothing new here.
The White Houseis is not falling for this latest attempt to DELAY, DELAY, DELAY till after the midterms either.
Tweets from Chad Pergram:
In the latest msg by Fords atty to cmte, they just reiterated they are willing to appear, but no committment to time or format. This doesnt clarify things much further. Saying Ford is willing to appear is just consistent with what Ford has said before.
From colleague Matt Leach. WH official to Fox says latest from Ford counsel is an ask to continue negotiations without committing to anything. Its a clever way to push off the vote Monday without committing to appear Wednesday.

A million curses on the forever cursed Jeff Flake. May that evil doer NOT rest in hell forever. But I repeat myself.

As I posted on another thread:
If Kavanaugh is not voted, confirmed, and seated on the Supreme Court by Oct 1st (a Monday) then the Supreme court is basically deadlocked for an entire year with only 8 justices.
The Term of the Court begins, by law, on the first Monday in October and lasts until the first Monday in October of the next year.

This is so wrong. Please explain how Gorsuch was approved in April and was seated a few days later — in the middle of a session. Everyone needs to stop spouting this nonsense.

It doesnt matter what you posted, it isnt true.
Lewis Powell and William Rehnquist were sworn in January 7, 1972
Clarence Thomas was sworn in October 23, 1991.
Neil Gorsuch was sworn in April 8, 2017.
Justices are sworn in mid term quite often. The court can reset and rehear for reargument cases that were tied prior to a new justice taking office.
Her attorney has said she would testify about a half-dozen times now but always hauls out some silly excuse to delay the event or presents some goofy demand which has been rejected by Grassley and his staff. Starting to sound like the boy who cried wolf.
The chairman has told her Monday or Wednesday under the Senate rules. I suspect that will be firm and they will ultimately vote on Monday since the committee meeting is still on the Senate calendar.
They want to say to the voters they agreed to testify but those mean old white men just wouldn't let them. Good luck with that DemonRats.

That old geezer is single handedly (with assists from the accursed Jeff Flake), going to cost us the midterms.
Here we have Donald Trump flying all over the country campaigning hard for our candidates, working his butt off to secure a Republican victory in November, and good ole Chucky Grassley fighting equally hard to make sure we lose. Nothing will depress Republicans turnout more than this pathetic, spineless, performance from Grassley. Why on earth would anyone vote Republican if they are going to become pu**ies in the US Senate and get pu**ywhipped by the likes of Schumer and Katz?
To: SmokingJoe
Hopefully Flake caught something from McCain before he went room temperature. But advances faster. Guy deserves the worst of the worst.

-—Although many aspects of the proposal you provided via email, on September 21, 2018, at 2:33 pm, are fundamentally inconsistent with the Committee’s promise of a fair, impartial investigation into her allegations, and we are disappointed with the leaks and the bullying that have tainted the process——
These people are crazy...
