Grassley agrees to give Ford more time to decide on Senate testimony (2:30 PM Saturday)

Washington (CNN)Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley agreed late Friday night to allow the woman who has accused Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault more time to decide whether to testify before Congress.
Apparently (per the article) the new deadline is 2:30 PM Saturday. God only knows if Grassley and the committee actually mean it this time.

It’s time for Grassley to give up his white male guilt. This woman is NOT a teenager - she’s a middle aged college professor and she’s had over 30 years to ‘get her story’ straight.
Yes. Sen. Grassley may be old and he may be white. He even may be conservative and he may be heterosexual. That in itself is not sufficient evidence to convict Senator Grassley of a sex crime unless some woman says he groped her 50 years ago.
Senator Grassley need not behave like a guilty white man because there is no accuser.

Sounds like from what is being read from Katz (per Fox News) they are agreeing to testify on their terms, and that she is being bullied, etc, and they want the hearing to be on Thursday. Doesn’t sound like an acceptance to me. Sounds like political spin and designed for media consumption.
