Washington (CNN)Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley agreed late Friday night to allow the woman who has accused Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault more time to decide whether to testify before Congress.
Apparently (per the article) the new deadline is 2:30 PM Saturday. God only knows if Grassley and the committee actually mean it this time.

Than Grassley will extend again.
Mollypitcher, I am very well aware of who and what she was in this matter.
I could write a long blog post called “Brett’s story”. Here he is, 17 years old, brilliant AND athletic, while guys much below him on the male stature scale have girls crawling all over them. Most of his classmates are “getting it”, or say they are.
Meanwhile, the dishwater girls his Mom’s friends fix him up with say then, as now, that he’s a “perfect gentleman” - which he is.
He’s just to naive to understand that, in girlspeak, that’s an insult. It’s what private school girls say if they are too polite to say “fa**ot”.
Anyway, his buddies pull him along to a party where, they hear, Choo-choo Blowsy is going to be. Maybe he knows guys who have already been the recipients of her favors.
So, maybe he goes to the party and maybe he doesn’t. Maybe his friend Garrett makes a move on her. Maybe he does.
But if he does, he’s clumsy and awkward - BECAUSE he’s a “perfect gentleman”. Just like the stupid, boring boys HER Mom wants to fix her up with.
Anyway, you can tell the rest of the story as well as I can.
And the saddest part is that his only real offense is that he might not let future generations of Christines kill their babies. Maybe.
For that, he must be destroyed.

I doubt very much that there was not a bathroom on the main floor. Houses of this style ALWAYS have what is called a “powder room,”

I suspect it could have taken some time for a girl to get a reputation at a boy's school across town, so if his friends really wanted to set him up with a sure thing, they might have gone with someone older and more reliable.
I'm not sure it happened at all or that it happened with Kavanaugh but your version, if true, doesn't really reflect well on Kavanaugh or his friends.

At this point, he can move it back every hour on the hour and it wouldn’t make any difference because Congress isn’t going to disrupt their weekend. However, 8 am Monday morning should be the end of this circus.

It seems Ford and Grassley are trying to outdo themselves on how is more ridiculous! UGHHH. let’s look at Ellison where the allegation is CREDIBLE.
That's why I think the best scenario for the GOP is to have this run all the way out close to Election Day.
In fact, you may even see evidence that the Democrats realize their vulnerability here. Look for some pressure inside the Senate from DEMOCRATS to get Buzzy Ford out of the headlines.

I didn’t have five girls. I had sons and a daughter. Your imaginings are based on your daughters’ influence. To even think the word faggot would apply to Kavanaugh is beyond ridiculous! A girl who puts herself in such a situation deserves whatever she gets. That’s the final word. You reap what you sow. How can ANYONE give credence to the tale of a dingbat and known left wing moonbat with her sexual history over a man who has led an exemplary life? I will not give her one minute of my time, much less believe her tale with as many holes as a fishnet.
I should add: Yesterday's "bombshell" headline in the New York Times about Rosenstein and the alleged plan to secretly tape President Trump may have been put out there for exactly this purpose.
True - but interestingly - neither Ford, nor anyone in her camp seems to want her to appear publicly in any venue.
There’s a reason for that (I’m not sure what it is).
Republicans should call the bluff and send her an escort that will drive her cross country with police protection.
Set her up in a nice suite in DC.
Don’t give her any reason to continue her avoidance of cameras and public record.

Trump was probably the last chance. I can not imagine another Republican will be able to fight as hard as Trump. The next elected Republican President, if it happens, will be super easy to remove from office.
