The liberal bastion of Massachusetts is sweating over a ballot initiative that could overturn a 2016 law that opened women's public restrooms to men.
Bay State voters will see several issues on their ballot in November, including the results of an underdog, grassroots effort to fight the bill signed into law by Gov. Charlie Baker.
The grassroots effort, begun by 21 people just weeks after Baker signed the bill, meant collecting 50,000 signatures in 45 days. Yet the group now known as Keep MA Safe successfully gathered enough certified signatures by the deadline, and that effort is listed as Question 3 on the November ballot.
The Boston Globe reported in a June story that left-wing groups are confident they will prevail in liberal Massachusetts, but those groups are also aware this is the first time the men-in-women's-restrooms issue has been put on a statewide ballot.
Keep MA Safe is spreading the word with its "No on 3" campaign but was being outspent 30-to-1 as of last year, the Globe reported.

I’m gonna use the bathroom and leave the seat up, that’ll put a stop to this nonsense.
The wording on the ballot makes a difference. . In Maryland a ballot initiative raised by conservatives who were against Marylands extreme gerrymandering said something like the following. Do you approve or disapprove of having legislative districts formed in compliance with the Constitution? It meant ... the way the veto proof Dem state legislature drew them. It passed. Dems are so dishonest. The people who got all the signatures fought the dishonest wording by to no avail.
May God use that remnant in Boston! Liberal is too nice a word. Those folks are doing a libidinous invasion. Increases in abortions, suicides, and sexually related diseases is simply called “liberal”?
I thought there was a $5,000.00 fine and up to five years in prison associated with that.
LOL, well sorta...
Give em a few years.
Start suing Target and other retailers for not having urinals in the ladies rooms.
The groups backing the initiative say the public accommodations bill is broadly worded and allows individuals to access bathrooms or locker rooms of the opposite sex. Supporters of the 2016 law say there isnt one incident of assault or invasion of privacy that has occurred as a result of the law.
Due to potential confusion due to the required wording of the referendum, Galvin noted that a yes vote on Question 3 would actually keep in place the current law prohibiting discrimination on the basis of gender identity in public places. Meanwhile, a no vote would repeal that part of the law.
Yes on 3 is supported by RFK’s grandson Joe Kennedy 3rd, who gave the SOTU response and drooled Chapstick.

About 40 years ago in Massachusetts, some private building owners began catering to the third kind by introducing “unisex” bathrooms along with the traditional men’s and women’s rooms. The plethora of the third kind should use the unisex toilets and buzz off.
I think this November you might see some slow changes in New England...I think CT-5 and both New Hampshire seats might flip and if Bob Stefanowski ride a Trump support...he might get Matt Corey elected (Chris Murphy’s iq combined with Maxine might hit 0). I’m hoping in 2020, a landslide will hit New England...with a red tide...
It’s not about equal treatment. It’s about forcing perversions on the rest of the decent people.
