Dozens of protesters filled Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassleys office in protest of Judge Brett Kavanaugh Thursday to eat dozens of sandwiches and discuss their concerns with the Supreme Court nominee.
The protest comes after Grassley told the lawyers of Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, the woman accusing Kavanaugh of high school-era sexual assault, that if she wants to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee, she must have prepared testimony submitted by Friday morning.

How are these people getting in? When I visited the Capitol as a tourist in 1998, I had to get a letter from my representative’s office. I also had to surrender my camera when visiting the house chambers. Why aren’t the guards holding these people to the same standards, as well as whomever vouched for them?
