NPR described Kermit Gosnell as an abortion doctor back in 2013 when a Philadelphia court convicted him of murdering babies.
But last month, the taxpayer-funded radio group rejected an ad that used the exact same term to describe Gosnell, claiming it is not value neutral, according to The Daily Beast.
The makers of the movie Gosnell: The Trial of Americas Biggest Serial Killer have been hitting roadblocks since they began their project more than four years ago. Their struggles started when the crowdfunding site Kickstarter refused to allow filmmakers Phelim McAleer and Ann McElhinney to fundraiser there. Is butcher and killer off limits?
Who are we to be judgmental? /s
he was a protected butcher.
The Left does not care about botched abortions.
safe-legal-rare are all lies from the Left. Gossnell was operating a legal process but committing crimes but protected by Democrats in offices who supported abortion.
Too big to fail.
Exactly!
I object to the use of the word “doctor” in conjunction with an abortionist. Abortionist Gosnell probably never performed an iota of medicine in his entire career.

Ghoul of my screams?
The article notes that NPR is ok calling him an “abortion doctor” when he is the one on defense.
In another story, NPR is insisting its reporters refer to the Nazi concentration camps as ‘Population Control Centers.’
Point of information and certainly not excusing anything, but does Gosnell still have a license to practice medicine?
Not that I have a high opinion of actual doctors to begin with, but the number of licensed physicians who actually participate in his horrific practice is miniscule.
I don't see any reason why you should call a butcher of human life a doctor, even if that person has a medical degree.
A sane country would have called the evil bastard a murderer and hanged him years ago.
I looked on their website. They don’t seem to be having any screenings in New York or NYC-adjacent areas, e.g. Newark, Hoboken, etc...
Have to go to Elizabeth NJ. ? Exit 13A across NJ Turnpike from Airport.
Still, it's strange that they wouldn't be screening it in the City.
to start they guess the makeup of the city etc.
If there are enough requests there could be a theater added in NYC?
Good to know!
