President Donald Trump on Tuesday responded to the news that the Senate has scheduled a hearing on Monday to consider allegations that his Supreme Court nominee, Brett Kavanaugh, sexually assaulted a woman when he was in high school.
Trump said that the FBI should not be involved further investigating the Kavanaugh allegations.
Kavanaugh's nomination has been in turmoil since the explosive allegations by Christine Blasey Ford, who said that Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her at a party when they were both teenagers.
Ford's allegation became public on September 16, just days before the Senate Judiciary Committee was scheduled to vote on Kavanaugh's confirmation, which had seemed all but assured.

It was initially reported that Senator Feinstein turned the letter over to the FBI in July. They dismissed it. That is part of why it was so objectionable that she brought it up at 11th hour as it had already been reviewed and dismissed. Look at the FR threads from last week. I have heard RUMORS that the DemocRATS have offered to DROP the smear campaign against Justice Kavanaugh IF President Trump HALTS the declassification of the FISA documents. I say NO DEAL! The accuser is nothing but a tawdry, lying slut.
I theorize that Mueller wants to subpeona Trump or whatever soon and that it will be going to the SC. I think that is part of this play against Kavanaugh and the apparent cooperation from GOPe.

I think a lot of people in the Senate are starting to consider the possibility that Trump’s next Supreme Court nominee may make Antonin Scalia look like a homosexual Marxist.

The FBI needs to be PERMANENTLY disbanded. It is an unconstitutional organization. We are not supposed to have a national police force.
BTW, there is no practical method available to “depoliticize” or “deweaponize” the FBI, because BY DESIGN the FBI is a federal weapon, meant to be used against so-called “enemies of the state.” And those enemies are defined by whatever political power holds the FBI’s leash at any specific time.
The idea that the FBI is somehow insulated from being an extension of the political power is naive to the point of extreme danger to our continued liberties.
How much history do we need to review of this organization to understand that THE FBI HAS ALWAYS BEEN USED AS A POLITICAL WEAPON?
In any case, the damage is done - and it is irreversible, because the FBI leadership so seriously violated the public trust. The only solution is to end the agency altogether, and NEVER AGAIN institute such an organization. This is not Nazi Germany. This is not Soviet Russia. America does not need a Gestapo or a KGB, which is exactly what the FBI amounts to.
I don’t give a rat’s a$$ about the so-called “honor” or “professionalism” of the FBI’s individual agents. They are ALL either narcissistic sociopaths, thugs or thug-wanna-bes.

I hope Chuck Grassly holds the vote whether Ford shows or not on Monday.
There is nothing to investigate. Ford is simply a November election torpedo whose target is the middle class suburban house wife.
Too bad she was given a stage at all.

That bears repeating, but Ford would not likely be prosecuted if the Dems take control of the House and Senate. The DOJ is apparently run by Obama operatives.She likely would not be prosecuted.
