Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley on Tuesday raised the possibility that next week’s high-stakes open hearing to examine the sexual assault allegation against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh could be canceled if the accuser doesn’t accept the committee’s invitation.
Grassley, R-Iowa, scheduled a hearing for Monday for Kavanaugh and accuser Christine Blasey Ford to answer questions from senators about the allegation. But Grassley said during a Tuesday radio interview that his office has reached out several times to Ford and her attorneys to discuss her allegation, but has heard nothing back.

Oh she is going to accept the imitation. I read an article yesterday about her telling her girlfriends in July that she had sent the letter to Eshoo about what happened to her and how she now was going to have to recall every detail about that night.

Yes, accept that her acceptance should be in his office by 8:00 a.m. That is when the government workers around here have to start their day. Also, the morning news shows are over at 9:00. We need to have an answer by that then. Why would this woman even hesitate, considering the harm she has already done to Judge Kavanaugh and our lawful procedure for selecting a Supreme Court Justice.
Posing this question would force Republicans into actively opposing their Democrat counterparts, instead of running for the cover.

If Ford doesn't show when the Republicans gave her an opportunity to tell her story under oath, the Democrats will look ridiculous. She wants an investigation, but refuses to testify?
Right now, it looks like Grassley called their bluff, and they're folding. And rather than leaving the GOP vulnerable to the claim "why wouldn't you at least listen to her", he'll leave the Democrats looking like they're trying to suppress the truth.

The FBI has been investigating something for over a year against Trump, but there was no crime there...either!

The Democrats trotted out this accuser to undermine a Supreme Court nominee, and now they want the Republicans to delay the confirmation vote until the FBI can fill in all the holes in her story.
I'm sure there isn't anyone in Congress who thinks the Democrats are going to accept an FBI finding on this matter that doesn't involve the arrest and indictment of Kavanaugh anyway, either.
Its simple: the Democrats want to force Kavanaugh to withdraw.
They never had the intention of allowing him to clear his good name.
As it stands, we should move up the vote to confirm him.
The Rats shouldn’t be allowed to turn the Senate into a freak sideshow.
This is all political kabuki theater and its all about the charge, not the evidence.

The Democrats are congregating in the gutter, where they usually are, plotting their bogus claims and dishonest strategy. Republicans beware!
Saying one is unfit for SCOTUS because of allegations of sexual assault, but that one is still fit for the Circuit regardless, is damning.
Make them make the call or back down.

The Democrats came up with this Hail Mary pass because Kavanaugh looked set for easy confirmation.
They’re despicable and care nothing for morals or the truth.
