White House counselor Kellyanne Conway's husband, George Conway, took aim at the president on Twitter Friday over President Trump's criticism of his predecessor, former President Obama.
In a tweet, George Conway, a conservative lawyer, criticized Trump for mocking Obama for a 2008 gaffe in which he mistakenly said he visited "57 states" during his first presidential run.
"When President Obama said that he has been to '57 States,' very little mention in Fake News Media. Can you imagine if I said that...story of the year!" Trump had written in his tweet.
Conway responded on Twitter, saying that there is a "huge difference" between Obama's mistake and Trump's "witless prevarication on virtually all topics, large and small."
"Needless to say, there’s a huge difference between an isolated slip of the tongue and ceaseless, shameless, and witless prevarication on virtually all topics, large and small," Conway responded.
Conway has frequently criticized Trump on social media, despite his wife's position at the White House.
Earlier this month, Conway retweeted a controversial anonymous New York Times op-ed warning that Trump is a dangerous and amoral leader.
Both Conways were the subjects of an interview in The Washington Post last month in which Kellyanne Conway stated that "part" of her husband "thinks I chose Donald Trump over him."
In the same interview, Kellyanne Conway called her husband's criticism of the president "disrespectful" to her.
“I think it’s disrespectful,” she said. “I think it disrespects his wife.”

How can two people with such divergent political beliefs even stay married!
How many American citizens - natural born or naturalized - would you have to awaken from a sound sleep at 4am to ask how many U.S. states there are before you would find even ONE who wouldn't answer "50"?
I'd say you'd have to wake millions.
And anyone who watches the clip of Obama saying 57 states can see that he really has no idea of the correct answer is.
Why do I have this nagging thought that this guy isn't exactly what we would reference as a Conservative? Hmmm, where would I get that idea?
Will the significance of the number 57 ever be brought up? I don’t think that anyone who was brought up as a cultural American would have made that “slip of the tongue.”
I don’t even like being in the same room with people like that let alone live with one.
What does Kellyanne’s mailman have to say? Just as meaningful.
Both this guy and Obama should be in a Witless Protection Program.

I guess he has no problem making his disagreements with his Wife Public and embarrassing his entire Family in the process. He is attacking his Wife both Personally and Professionally by doing so.
As an comparison, take James Carville and his Wife Mary Matalin. Their differing Political Viewpoints were seen as laughable and light hearted, especially since Mary is more of a Bush League RINO than a Conservative.
The Kellyanne situation is different, especially since she is credited with running the Trump Campaign and being the first Woman to successfully get a Presidential Candidate Elected to Office.

My guess since he is publicly embarrassing his wife, he hasn’t held back trying to embed his insanity into his children’s minds either.

exactly.... he slipped again in the ABC interview when he said “my muslim faith” and of course when he said I’m one of you to an Islamic audience.

George Conway is not a conservative if he protects Obama and throws Trump under the bus. If I were Kellyanne, I’d puke if I had to crawl in bed next to him.
This sounds like a Mary Matalin and James Carville marriage, but without the good humor and cordiality.
