Sen. Dianne Feinstein of California announced plans Sunday to formally oppose Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court, saying justices “should not be an extension of the Republican Party.”
Ms. Feinstein, the top Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee, said she was troubled by how the nominee had been vetted, citing a lack of documents on Judge Kavanaugh’s career with the Bush administration.
But, she wrote in the L.A. Times, her decision was determined by the “very real-world implications” of placing him on the court.
“We already knew that Judge Kavanaugh held highly ideological views on the 2nd Amendment, women’s reproductive rights and the executive power of the presidency. Judge Kavanaugh’s testimony shed new light on these positions and on his loyalty to President Trump and his political agenda,” she wrote. “Supreme Court justices should not be an extension of the Republican Party. They must also have unquestionable character and integrity, and serious questions remain about Judge Kavanaugh in this regard, as indicated in information I referred to the FBI.”

We all know that 'acceptable' judges to Feinstein, et al, must be pro-abortion, pro-homosexualism, pro-big (unlimited) government, pro-socialism, pro-globalism, anti-religious freedom, anti-second amendment, anti-free markets, anti-borders, anti-flag, anti-America and they must use 'for the good of the people' and 'international norms' and 'emanations and penumbras' as the basis of their rulings--not the constitution, ie, they must be an arm of the democrat socialist party.

She’s no different than the vast majority if not all of them now. I miss the days when there were some conservative Dems with integrity, may not have agreed with them on a lot of issues but they had respect for the other side of the aisle and our country.
Feinstein is only partially right. That is because of the appointments of Ginsberg, Sotomayor, and Kagan that have voted en-block and legislating from the bench of the highest court of the land. That also includes the 9th Circuit Court.
Supreme Court justices should be an extension of the Constitution. Given the Democrat Party's advocacy for ignoring the Constitution and the rule of law, that makes all qualified Justices - those who honor the Constitution - republicans.

Diane Feinstein did not tell the truth here. Her real reason for opposing Brett Kavanaugh is that she is a democrat who favors Abortion, the killing of developing human beings, gay marriage, etc. Diane Feinstein cannot bear to see a person who adheres to the Constitution and the Bill of Rights in his decision appointed to the Supreme Court. He might vote against some of the immortal stuff that might come up for a vote. That’s the real reason the democrats are trying so hard to block him.
