Trump was elected, he calmed the storm!
I’m waiting for the Democrats to say the death toll is topping 3000.
“Several NDBC stations in the region, both on the shore and offshore, confirm that Florence never produced sustained winds reaching hurricane threshold”
Trumps fault.
So Rush was right. The Leftists were hyping it up to blame it on Global Warming.
Good news for the north east, too.
We get the tail end of these big storms.
As in flooding and sometime big trees get knocked down.
Its the 40 inches of rain that will do the damage.

There are a couple more meandering around in the Atlantic.
We’ll see if he can keep up the good work.
That's assuming the rain fall forecast doesn't bust similar to the way the wind speed forecast busted.
Had to turn off FOX and Shep. Too much “biblical” and “catastropic” drama hooey.
Democrats: “Pay no attention to the storm downgrade behind the curtain — it’s still dangerous and it’s still Trumped fault.”
This might be the most over-hyped “hurricane” of all time. It surely doesn’t merit the 24/7 coverage FNC is giving it.
Yep, and I see even slower winds from the Wunderground stations, but I’m sure they are lower in height. I’ve seen for all recent hurricanes. The winds are much lower than the panic inducing numbers that come from the government.
The NHC now has the technology to look over every little part of the storm and find the maximum winds and that’s what they report for the entire storm.
Last week I heard (NBC news, I think) a report that this was already “the strongest storm ever to hit the United States.”
American media is pathetic.
Poor democRats. I’m sure they will be bitter and butt-hurt that Flo didn’t turn out to be another Katrina. As they claimed it would be.
I really truly believe this. That because there will not be hundreds of fatalities to blame on Trump, leftists will sulk over this lost opportunity to blame Trump.
What’s Isaac up to, out there in the Caribbean?
I think Moorhead City is already at 42” of rain.
>>Its the 40 inches of rain that will do the damage.<<
The models I saw this AM suggested more like 20”
Thinking back a few years, while living in Florida, I remember Hurricane Andrew. I was ready for it, but my first wife was not. When the wind reached a screaming freight-train pitch with the trees thrashing and snapping, the horizontal streaming rain, the flying roof shingles and tiles, the destroyed fences, my wife was rooted to the one same spot. She stared and stared through the glass of the window. Immovable, with her nose pressed to the window, the stark fear in her eyes will stay with me forever.
Fortunately, as the eye of the storm arrived and the winds temporarily lessened, I was able to grab a beer, open the door and let her in.
“Fortunately, as the eye of the storm arrived and the winds temporarily lessened, I was able to grab a beer, open the door and let her in.”
That was funny.
