As Twitchy reported earlier, Sen. Dianne Feinstein announced that she’d turned over to authorities a letter that had some incriminating information about SCOTUS nominee Brett Kavanaugh and a woman, possibly reaching back as far as his high school years.
Of course, idiots like ThinkProgress’s Ian Millhiser floated the idea that Kavanaugh “may have committed a very serious crime — possibly even a sex crime.” A lot of people starting making #MeToo accusations.
With that insinuation floating around all day, The Guardian has a source who claims to know the contents of the letter, and … well, it doesn’t even rise to the level of Mitt Romney cutting some kid’s hair.
The Guardian reports:
A source who said they were briefed on the contents of the letter said it described an incident involving Kavanaugh and a woman that took place when both were 17 years old and at a party. According to the source, Kavanaugh and a male friend had locked her in a room against her will, making her feel threatened, but she was able to get out of the room. The Guardian has not verified the apparent claims in the letter. It is not yet clear who wrote it.
That’s it? That’s what she forwarded to authorities? And people were expecting the FBI to investigate?

Dianne Feinstein’s chinese lover also hinted that when Kavanaugh was in 4th grade he kissed a 5th grade girl.
Obviously this episode reveals Kavanaughs deep hostility towards lesbians. Forcing a woman into the closet at a party is simply a metaphor for what Kavanaugh intends to do from the bench. /s
And it was so important she didn’t do anything with the information until just before the vote on the nominee - she didn’t report it when she received the letter, not a month later, not two months later, not during the hearings, etc. It’s so important that on the eve of the vote she “give is to the FBI” to create headlines about. If she truly felt it was important she would have given it the President immediately and ask him to reconsider the nomination before going through all of this. It’s totally bogus.
If there was a letter, it may have been a forgery done by Democrat staff members. But if there is a woman behind the allegation, Kavanaugh’s avoidance of her so long ago may have been the wisest course of action.

The Democrats and Jack Conway tried to make it a thing, but it blew up in their faces, big time. I looked up Feinstein’s Bio. The only college degree she earned was a BA in History from Stanford University. What a lightweight (figuratively , not literally) she is when compared to Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh.
If this alleged party prank is THE story, that’s truly pathetic. Feinstein should resign in disgrace. Of course, you just know that if it is all they’ve got, they’ll run with it and spin the ‘prank’ as the moral and psychological equivalent of rape... and how the alleged victim needed years of therapy from her trauma... and how this shows that K wants to control women’s bodies, blah blah blah.
I disagree wholeheartedly. The smart play, IMHO, is Feinstein for Senator and Cox for Governor. At 85, it's a fair bet that she doesn't complete her term, either through resignation due to ill health or just assuming room temperature. If, by some miracle, Cox beats out Gavin Narcissism, there's a fighting chance that Feinstein's replacement is much farther right than DeLeon.
Heck, this guy makes Kamala Harris look like a Conservative, not to mention making Mad Maxine sound sane. If it wasn't for the stupid "top 2" primary crap we now have, DeLeon be long gone and hard to find.
